That is it from the land of calypso beats. This is Kumar Abhisekh Das signing off with his mates Pratyush Sinha and Krishna. It's Monday tomorrow, it is Monday already for a few as well. Gear up guys!!! We are off to sleep.
Sarfraz Ahmed: Credit goes to the bowlers. The young Shadab did really well. Mentally we were at the top. But we aren't relaxing. Shadab bowled well in the PSL. I asked him to bowl same lines. No easing up.
Shadab Khan: The prayers of my parents helped. I will try to keep performing well as I did today and help Pakistan win. The conditions were good for the spinners. They were similar to the conditions in PSL.
Carlos Brathwaite: The collapse in the middle [was responsible for this loss]. The debutant [Shadab Khan] came out and did well. It was always difficult to come back after the collapse. We did well in the end to get to 111. We don't have too much of a gap. It might be a good thing or a bad thing. It was a little weight off my shoulder as I got runs, but would like the team to win.
Pakistan have finished the task with elan. There were hiccups as the wickets were lost mid-way into the chase. But Malik stayed there till the end to shepherd his team to an easy win. A win which was set up by Shadab Khan and bowlers. Every Pakistani bowler looked purposeful and almost every West Indian batsman, rusty! The Windies team lost it in the first half of the first innings as they collapsed like a pack of cards and their scorecard looked like an SOS call at 49/6. They limped to 111. And Pakistan didn't exactly scoot away but accelerated well enough to win it in the 18th over. Captains speak in a while as to what they think about Shadab Khan.
Holder to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, what a way to finish! A shot of authority dictates the dominance that Pakistan have showcased today. Coming to the final ball: a length ball, the batsman with a high elbow leans into the drive and then adores his own shot by staying in the pose. The skipper looks skywards and is content
Jason Holder [3.0-0-23-2] is back into the attack

Brathwaite to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, drives, fails to pierce the gap at mid-off. The scores are level!
Brathwaite to Shoaib Malik, no run, looks to pull and misses as the slower short ball outside off dies down to the keeper
Brathwaite to Shoaib Malik, 2 runs, stays back and tucks the ball away into the on-side. Only two more needed
Brathwaite to Shoaib Malik, SIX, short delivery and the batsman hacks the ball down the ground over long-on. That has gone many a mile into the stands and eaten a major chunk of the remainder of the runs
Brathwaite to Sarfraz, 1 run, fuller length delivery and the batsman drives it down to mid-on for a quick single
Brathwaite to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, hops up and tucks the ball down the ground to long-on for a single
Carlos Brathwaite [2.0-0-7-1] is back into the attack
The formalities remain. 12 off 24. Next two overs? Krishna, my mate says it will take more time than that!

Narine to Sarfraz, 2 runs, chops the ball away late, just used the pace of the bowler. This, despite a slip being in place. The key to the shot was the late attempt
Narine to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, drives it down the ground to long-on as the ball was speared in full
