That's all we have for you today. Pakistan redeem themselves, save themselves off some of the likely embarrassment, but Zimbabwe have really impressed. Nevertheless, what matters is that Babar Azam gets the T20I trophy. Right then, on behalf of us, until the Tests come along, ta ta!!
Babar Azam | Winning skipper: It was a team effort. The openers gave a good start, and the discussion with Rizwan and me was that we needed a big partnership and one of us had to take it deep. The ball was coming onto the bat well and our target was 150-160. They batted well in the first ten overs, they fought back well, but our fast bowlers came back better.
Sean Williams | Losing skipper: It is exciting for us as Zimbabwe. We have a talented bunch of boys and if we keep giving them chances, they will get through to the World Cup. It is a young side, but we need to bat at a higher strike rate against the spinners. The senior guys are moving aside to give them chances. It has been an exciting series. The wicket for the Test looks really good and a new bunch of guys will come in for that.
Mohammad Rizwan | MoS: The pitch was good early on with the new ball. But after the powerplay, it stayed low. We knew that it would be difficult for the new batsmen coming in and hat is what we tried. We just tried to use our minds and bat through, especially Babar and me. We decided that both of us would hit and the one who survived would bat through.
Hasan Ali | MoM: Always happy to perform when the team wins. As long as the body language is good, we do well. The way they played was brilliant, but things were in our control. We knew that one wicket would bring us back into the game because the ball wasn't coming onto the bat well.
Wesley Madhevere: It's unfortunate we didn't the result that we wanted. But it's a work in progress, hopefully, we win next time. The game plan was to attack from the start, so I just went on with the flow. I had a chat with the coaches and learnt how to start and pace the innings. We are a young side and looking to build the team, hopefully, in the future, we cross the finish line.
14:21 Local Time: Quite the tame end, and a 24-run defeat won't tell you the story, but Pakistan have clawed back into this one rather well. At one stage with Madhevere and Marumani looking solid and keeping the asking rate in check, Pakistan were looking quite lost on the field. But once Hasnain brought about an opening, getting Marumani to chop on, and Taylor absolutely got stuck at one end with Madhevere unable to get on strike as well, their other quicks strung in some quiet overs to build the pressure and bring about the Zimbabwean downfall. In the end, it was their experience that got Pakistan through, with Hasan Ali (4/18) and Haris Rauf (2/34) proving to be too hard to put away. And 2-1 it was. Okay, here come the presentations ..

Haris Rauf to W Masakadza, no run, proper yorker this. Masakadza can do nothing apart from keeping it out. A squeeze out it is, and 2-1 it is to Pakistan ..
Blessing Muzarabani, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Haris Rauf to Brendan Taylor, out Caught by Rizwan!! It was quite a painful stay this, and Rauf's brought about the end with a pretty innocuous full toss. Taylor swipes, mistimes and skies it to long-on. Brendan Taylor c Rizwan b Haris Rauf 20(22) [4s-2]
Haris Rauf to Brendan Taylor, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Haris Rauf to W Masakadza, leg byes, 1 run, full, on the pads, and past the flick to roll away off the legs round the corner
Haris Rauf to Brendan Taylor, 1 run, short, just outside off, tapped away rather meekly to mid-off
Wellington Masakadza, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Haris Rauf to Luke Jongwe, out Caught by Hasan Ali!! It's officially over. Jongwe clears his leg, swings, and barely gets it past the infield, with deep square leg sliding under this top-edge. Luke Jongwe c Hasan Ali b Haris Rauf 5(4) [4s-1]
Haris Rauf to Luke Jongwe, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Haris Rauf to Luke Jongwe, FOUR, shuffles early to scoop, miscues, gets it very fine. Sharjeel chases it from short fine leg, and just when he dives to flick it back, he sees Hasnain having dived down as well, having given it the chase from backward square leg. Never mind, his knee is touching the ropes
31 runs | 6 balls .. Just formalities.

Hasan Ali to Brendan Taylor, no run, nearly another. A slower full one, Taylor doesn't read, swings, misses, and the off-pole wasn't very far either
Hasan Ali to Luke Jongwe, 1 run, a big heave, and a bigger miscue into the leg-side
