So, Zampa's four-fer, Cummins' three-fer and Australia seal yet another series against Pakistan. We'll leave it for now here, and until the day after again at this very ground, on behalf of all of us, ta ta!!
22:56 Local Time: Australia romp on. Three weeks, two series, and two major cricketing neighbours humbled. 3-0 but more importantly, they've inflicted enough damage on Pakistani egos at a very, very wrong time in the context of things. This chase actually never got going - but to be fair, 266 was a little too much anyway. Apart from that brief moment when Imam-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik were consolidating - although very slowly - nothing really went right in this chase. But most batsmen, after getting their eye in, just didn't kick on. It certainly wasn't the easiest wicket and the ball was nipping around quite sharply, and the drizzle didn't help either, but it's Maxwell's blitz at the end of the first innings that stole it from Pakistan.
Zampa to Mohammad Hasnain, out Lbw!! We're going upstairs. Googly, and poor Hasnain doesn't read it one bit .. ends up playing completely down the wrong line - outside - and ends up getting trapped plumb in front of middle. But the umpire isn't convinced, Australia are, and the technology proves. Mohammad Hasnain lbw b Zampa 0(1)
