Pakistan making a habit of collecting these T20I trophies. The ODIs are up next. Can New Zealand make a greater fight of it? We'll find out. That's all from us. It's a goodbye from Sagar Chawla, Vineet Anantharaman, Nikhil Jadhav and our scorer Sulthan.
Sarfraz, Pakistan captain: Brilliant team effort. The way we have played these last 6 T20Is has been superb. Batsmen did the job today. Babar Azam and Hafeez played outstanding innings. With the new ball, we have always looked for wickets. Even with the bat, we've set a good tone. Lot of pride to play for Pakistan. When our teammates break records, Babar quickest to 1000 runs, Shadab with the most wickets this year, we feel a lot of pride. We'll look to play well, it'll be a different format, so we'll look to play good cricket in the ODIs too.
Williamson, NZ captain: At the halfway stage, on that pitch, that was a very good total from Pakistan. They managed to keep wickets in hand like they've done throughout the series. They played superbly well on a tricky surface. We had some momentum for a little time, but in these conditions things can change quickly. They're very accurate, they bowl according to the areas of the ground where they want to be hit. Excited for the ODI series. Shame that we went 0-3 down, but lot to learn from it.
Hafeez, MoS: The way the team has supported me, everyone prayed for my good performances, that's really nice to see. When I go in, whatever the situation, I strive to handle it to my best. I back myself with conviction. The way everyone is handling their responsibilities, under pressure, it's a good sign for any team.
Azam, MoM: Early on, I went for boundaries but it didn't come off. I usually keep it simple. Go for my shots when the ball is in my areas. I take the odd chance too. Even in ODIs I play one-down. So that's not a problem if I open or not. It's about the team, not records.
23:05 Local Time, 19:05 GMT, 00:35 IST: Dramatic collapse from New Zealand, losing their last eight wickets for just 23. Really disappointing effort, especially after captain Kane Williamson had played such a blinder to get the chase back to life. From overs 7-12, in that five over period, New Zealand had smashed 64, mostly through Williamson, after a very sluggish start. They had Pakistan rattled. But Shadab Khan's double-strike in the 13th over killed the game off, following which the visitors crumbled to a 0-3 whitewash. Pakistan's T20I juggernaut, with 11 consecutive series wins, keeps rolling along. We'll have the presentations for you shortly..
Maqsood to Rance, out Bowled!! That's it. In trying to launch a slower ball down the ground, Rance has been cleaned up. He walked too far away from the line and this cutter gripped past his outside edge to crash into off stump. Pakistan complete a 3-0 whitewash. Rance b Maqsood 1(2)
