So, this is it from the third Test between these two enigmatic nations - Pakistan and West Indies. This is Kumar Abhisekh Das, who had much delight in covering this riveting contest along with Vineet Anantharaman and Akshay Maanay. It is an early finish for us. So, time to party. Wishing the same for you guys. Tada!

Here are a few statistical nuggets from this game:

- Fourth loss for Pakistan in Sharjah.

- KRAIGG BRATHWAITE becomes the first opening batsman to remain unbeaten in both innings of a Test match.

- WI chasing sub-200 targets in 4th innings chases: Won: 52. Draw: 06. Loss: 0.

- First away win for West Indies in 8 years & 311 days. The previous one came after 7 years & 196 days. Excluding the wins against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

Misbah: "It is always disappointing to lose a Test match. I know we have won the series, but it is disappointing of losing a game. We needed the momentum going to New Zealand. Credit to West Indies for playing well and we were also not disciplined. There were some bad shot selections and the conditions didn't help the spinners. With this team we have the ability to come back strongly. They are hurt with this defeat and will look to prove in New Zealand and Australia. It is important to score 350 in the first innings, especially when the pitch is good for batting. West Indies read the conditions well, bowled well and fielded well. He is a match-winner( talking about Yasir Shah). The way he is performing in each series, happy for him. We lost the match because there were no contributions from the key players. Sorry to all the fans, who are here to support us."

Holder: "We played some very good cricket over the last five days. Credit must go to Kraigg (Brathwaite) for some awesome batting. Gabriel got wickets with the new ball and set it up for us. It feels really good to contribute and help the team win. Really young side in transition and we can take a lot of positives from this series. As long as we stay together as a group, it will be good for West Indies cricket."

Yasir Shah is the Man of the Series for picking up 21 wickets at 26.85.

Brathwaite: "Obviously it was a tough Test match. Pakistan played well and I am happy that we came out with a win. I worked towards my strength and backed my abilities. I played a one-day game here and it was a slow pitch, so prepared accordingly. It is my best match for West Indies. The key is to maintain and not to get comfortable. Pakistan made it as tough as possible, but me and Shane (Dowrich) put up a great partnership."

Kraigg Brathwaite is the Man of the Match for remaining unbeaten in both the innings. The opener accumulated 202 runs in the Test..

Dowrich: "It is a great feeling to win a Test match. First for me and it is special. The way we played this Test match, we should have played like this from before. I just told myself that I will be positive this morning as Kraigg (Brathwaite) was the anchor man. Test cricket has always been my dream growing up and I have worked hard for it. I will look to continue performing for West Indies."

Brathwaite: "For me, the job was to bat right through. Me and Shane (Dowrich) decided to carry till the end. Playing with Shane over the years from secondary school, it is a privilege. We just kept talking to each other, rotating the strike and got us home. We have a good group of young guys, who are eager to go out and play. We go back to first class cricket and we need to keep doing well there."

Two uncertain teams, two unpredictable teams and we couldn't be faulted for expecting one final twist in the final morning. With 39 runs yet to be knocked out, and a steaming bowling attack standing in their way, an attack famed for defending peanuts, Brathwaite and Dowrich kept them at bay. Staying on the field for every moment of the five days, after carrying his bat through in the first innings and then ensuring that he remains the calming influence around the turbulence at the other end, the 'other' Brathwaite is certainly engraving a name for himself. In the process he has ensured that his efforts ensures the first win for most players, in their entire career. The first as a captain for Jason Holder. A massively proud moment. The celebrations, presentations and everything that follows in just a bit..

Brathwaite, remember the name, Kraigg Brathwaite. The pendulum finally settles. After ebbs and flows by the hour through the first four days, the Windies provided us with an anti-climactic final day morning. The magnitude of the win certainly cannot be understated. A win over a higher ranked team in almost nine years outside home just about suggests the mediocrity that had crept into the Caribbean. With their star players refusing retainer contracts, choosing the fancier leagues across the globe, this win comes as a balm of relief. A relief of a few vital points to cling onto that number eight spot. The satisfaction of having it in them to breach a fortress, a fortress Australia and England were hammered in. Not a bad week for the lower ranked teams all across the World. With Bangladesh pulling off a mighty upset over England, Zimbabwe stretching play into the last hour of the final day, the performances this week are sure to put a smile on your face no matter which part of the globe you support.

Amir to Dowrich, FOUR, That is it! West Indies have won a Test against Pakistan. The number two side have been brought to their knees here. After 26 years, West Indies have managed an away win against Pakistan. Whattttt an achievement by the young West Indian side. Coming to the ball: That was short and devoid of room, Dowrich went for the upper slash and it soared over the slips for a four towards the third man region. Jason Holder and his team are thrilled to bits. Dowrich punches his fist in the air

43.4

Amir to Dowrich, no run, angles in from a shortish length and Dowrich is happy to let it go

43.3

Amir to Dowrich, no run, that was pinged on the sticks, Dowrich keeps it out with a blunted face of the bat

Amir to Dowrich, FOUR, nothing going right for Pakistan. The plan was there, the execution was good and depsite a blind pull. He somehow got it away from the man at deep square leg
