That's that for tonight - the series is level at 1-1, and all to play for tomorrow at the Gaddafi stadium. A memorable performance from South Africa, in alien conditions, and they've upset Pakistan's comfort zone - their spinners on dry wickets. Can Pakistan fix the chink in their armour? Can Qadir the second come good in the decider? We'll know by this time tomorrow. For now, it's goodbye from the Cricbuzz studio. Tata!
Heinrich Klaasen | South Africa captain: We tried getting in the big hitters for this game, a change we brought in after the last game because the conventional plan didn't really work out for us, and we managed to execute the plan tonight and it came off. Credit must go to all our bowlers, especially Dwaine - 5 wickets in a T20I is special. We executed our plans really well and managed to level the series. We're here to win and hopefully we can pull off the decider tomorrow.
Dwaine Pretorius | Man of the Match | 4-0-17-5: I'm happy I could contribute tonight, and we executed our plan well. We tried to mix-up line and length, and tried not to get lined up. Our spinners bowled well too, and our execution was really good tonight, In the last game we lost the bigger moments despite playing well, but we won the big moments today. Hopefully we can win the match tomorrow and treat it like a final.
Babar Azam | Pakistan captain: We had fewer runs, didn't use the middle overs and lost back to back wickets, and therefore we couldn't really pick up the run-rate. It was a better wicket, rather similar, but our bowlers didn't do that well this time. South Africa got out some new plans against the spinners today, and credit to them, but hopefully we can discuss tomorrow morning, strategize and perform better in the decider tomorrow.
Reeza Hendricks: Pretty happy camp. Obviously one down and coming here, it was an important game and we had to win. The boys did well and it sets up the series. It is part of the game, it is important to get some runs at the top especially after losing a few wickets and pretty much happy with my contribution. Unbelievable to get five wickets in a T20 game it does not happen often. Special performance from Pretorius. We had a good couple of days to prepare and lucky that it came off. Yes, very important game and looking forward to it.
21:14 Local Time: The chase didn't start off particularly well for South Africa, what with a fiesty Shaheen Shah picking up a couple of early new-ball wickets in the powerplay. The rescue effort between Biljon and Hendricks, however, got South Africa right back into the game and set up the chase, before a fresh Miller and Klaasen fired them home and finished the job neatly for South Africa. Eventually, the villain for Pakistan was Usman Qadir, who got some serious stick today and even took a wicket off a no-ball, after a fabulous performance in the first game. He's Pakistan's trump card, alongside Shaheen, and he needs to come good if Pakistan are to win the decider and break their hoodoo against South Africa in T20Is. Presentations coming up in a bit...
Iftikhar Ahmed to Miller, 1 run, half-tracker, and he slaps it off the backfoot towards sweeper cover for a single - that's 1-1 to South Africa, and we head into a super-Sunday for the deciding T20I!
Iftikhar Ahmed to Miller, SIX, a gentle toss-up and that's scores level with a gigantic loft over long-on for six! South Africa nearly there!
