Australia have gone 2-0 up on the back of this win. A real close one today, going to the Super Over. The series will now move to Canberra and we look forward to your company again on Tuesday. Until then it's goodbye!
Hazlewood, POTM: It's exciting more than anything (bowling the Super Over). Once you see who's come out, just have a nice clear plan and execute. Playing consecutive games over and over, tournaments like IPL, you learn a lot. Feeling nice and confident at the moment.
Finch, Australia captain: Great to get the win. Pretty sloppy there. Might've got away with the win. Based on how well Josh bowled towards the back of the game (Super Over options?). Zampa was confident in Zampa to do the job. We bowled some great overs, bowled some poor overs. Fielding was pretty poor. The pitch got better towards the end as the dew came in. Happy with the totals we've got. We'll tinker around. One of the bowlers will rest.
Shanaka, SL captain: It was a thrillier. At the start we bowled well, but gave 10 runs extra. In the second phase we lost too many wickets early on. He's a world class player (Nissanka).
Oh that was top-class from Hazlewood to seal it for Australia in the Super Over. Gave away just five runs, and Australia got those comfortably with Hasaranga offering three loose deliveries in a row. It was a commendable effort from Sri Lanka to take it to the tiebreaker. They were lagging behind for most of the chase and left it really late, with Pathum Nissanka and Dasun Shanaka playing superbly.
Ball 3: Hasaranga to Stoinis, FOUR runs, and that's it! Another one tossed up in the slot, Stoinis drives wide of mid-on and Australia are home!
Ball 2: Hasaranga to Stoinis, FOUR runs, tosses up the leg-break just outside off, proper half-volley, and drilled through extra cover. Scores level already. 5/0
Ball 1: Hasaranga to Maxwell, 1 run, it's a juicy full toss around off and Maxwell mistimes it down to long-on. 1/0
Hasaranga warming up. Just five to defend for Sri Lanka. Maxwell walking out without a helmet, Stoinis right behind him
Ball 6: Hazlewood to Nissanka, 1 run, sensational Super Over from Hazlewood, keeps it full and Nissanka can only squeeze it out to the off-side. SL end on 5/1
Ball 5: Hazlewood to Nissanka, 2 runs, dug in short, Nissanka stands tall and pulls but mistimes it over mid-wicket. Just a couple more. SL 4/1
Ball 4: Hazlewood to Shanaka, 1 run, Hazlewood is nailing the yorkers here, once again too full and Shanaka can't do much except dig it to out to cover. SL 2/1!
Ball 3: Hazlewood to Shanaka, 1 run, byes, Another yorker and Shanaka again misses. They steal a bye and there is an overthrow, which makes the batters go for another. Maxwell is too good though, firing a direct hit at the bowler's end and Chandimal is well short. SL 1/1
Ball 2: Hazlewood to Shanaka, no run, perfect wide yorker, Shanaka stays still this time but can't get bat under it. This is exceptional stuff from Hazlewood. SL 0/0
Ball 1: Hazlewood to Shanaka, no run, near-yorker and Shanaka premeditates the paddle scoop, misses and gets hit on the boot. SL 0/0
Sri Lanka will be batting first. Who will their three batters be? Chandimal and Shanaka to start the innings. Hazlewood to bowl.
22:54 Local Time, 11:54 GMT, 17:24 IST: Blockbuster game of cricket. 165 was a middling total, but Sri Lanka were jolted early with the new ball, making their chase tough. Things looked bleak until Nissanka and Shanaka put them right back on course with a superb partnership. The Sri Lankan skipper in particular was in ominous ball-striking form, but his freak run out once again shifted the momentum Australia's way. Nissanka didn't back down though, and went hard. However, when he fell with 12 needed off four, you thought the game was done. But M Theekshana smashed a six first ball and with five needed off the final ball, Chameera slammed the boundary. Australia will wonder how they let things slip. Their bowling at times was a bit erratic though, especially Richardson and Stoinis.

Stoinis to D Chameera, FOUR, Chameera has levelled the scores here! What scenes out there! Low full toss and it's slammed straight over the bowler's head. Dead straight and one bounce to the ropes. Super Over incoming folks!
Stoinis to M Theekshana, byes, 1 run, should have been a wide but not given. Almost the perfect wide yorker, a tad wider though and they steal a single
Stoinis to M Theekshana, SIX, an unreal effort from Smith near the ropes! Almost saved a six! The catch was never on so he leapt and parried it back before crashlanding outside the boundary ropes. Landed badly and does look hurt as he hit his head while falling. What an effort though! But the ball just touched the ropes on its way back, so it will still be six! What drama! And what calmness from Theekshana, length ball first up and he swipes over deep mid-wicket. Whoa!
