That is it from this one. The agony piles on for the visitors. The hosts have found a way out, almost everytime, to come out on top. The scoreline is 4-0. We will continue covering every bit of cricketing action for you but bid you ta ta for now. KAD on behalf of Raju P signing off.

Glenn Maxwell: It was nice. Josh came out with great intent. I could play a different role. Just wanted to rotate strike and not play too many dots. His range and clean hitting. His clarity and calmness is wonderful. He has a bright future and was part of the WC squad as well. Nice to hit the stumps and get the wicket for the team.

Aaron Finch: Our bowlers got shuffled around a bit. Agar is bowling beautifully. His variations in pace has been wonderful. He is contributing with the bat and is a great fielder. We need a strong 6 and 7 if we need to win the WC. We saw Wade did that for us against Pakistan in the WC and then against SA in the WC as well. Josh is hard to bowl to as he can hit you anywhere on the field. Maxi has been playing very well. He was able to sit back and support Inglis. Played a mature role to get us over the line.

Dasun Shanaka: A few positives but not enough runs on the board. The spinners bowled well. We are lacking a little in the batting department. It is always nice feeling at Melbourne. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a win for our supporters here.

22:28 Local Time, 11:28 GMT, 16:58 IST: Australia make it 4-0. The top-order had a slowish start. At the half-way mark, Australia seemed to be behind the 8-ball but they timed their chase well post that as Josh Ingish joined hands with Maxwell. They scored briskly and Australia won comfortably. Sri Lanka like the previous games had their moments but were unable to close out the big moments. This has been a frustrating series for the visitors as they have come close but don't have anything to show for their efforts.
