That's a wrap to our coverage of this game. The bat dominated the ball by some distance here in Chittagong and most of the batsmen made merry, none more than Mominul Haque. A draw was inevitable and so we have a decider coming up then. The final Test will be held in Dhaka on 8th February. Looking forward to your company for that one. For now, you can hop on to the Ind-SA match tab to follow the coverage there. This is Hariprasad Sadanandan (@iamharry_88) signing off from the commentary box along with my mates Nikhil Jadhav (@IamNicck) and Harish. Cheers!

Man of the Match: Mominul Haque for his twin centuries in the Test - the first ever Bangladeshi batsman to achieve the feat.

It was an extremely good batting surface here at Chittagong and Mominul's fluent 176 along with contributions from Rahim and Mahmudullah had got the home side to a 500-plus total. The Lankans weren't to be daunted though, and they launched an even bigger riposte with daddy hundreds from de Silva and Mendis while Roshen Silva notched up his debut century as well. The visitors' intention was to bat really long and then use the scoreboard pressure of the lead. They must have hoped that the pitch would deteriorate a bit as well but that wasn't to be. Not a match to be a bowler as both sides struggled to take wickets. Only 24 wickets fell over more than 14 sessions - sums up things, doesn't it?

Excellent end to the game for Bangladesh and I have to say that this is a moral victory for them. Things could have got tacky if they had lost wickets early in the morning but Mominul's second ton of the game and his fantastic stand with Liton Das ensured that the visitors wouldn't be allowed to run through. Both departed at the fag end of the second session in contrasting styles and it did seem like there would be some madness to follow, considering the way Mahmudullah and Mosaddek started their innings. However, the tea break came at the right moment and the duo kept their heads down thereafter to prevent further damage. A job well done by the hosts.

15:21 Local Time: The captains are having the customary handshakes. Not waiting till the mandatory 15 overs to start, don't have to actually because the result is more than imminent now. Match drawn and the series stays 0-0
