Chandimal kept emphasizing how Bangladesh are strong at home right through the tour, and then his team keep beating them. Superb start to the year for them. Let's hope they go from strength to strength from here. That's it from us. Goodbye!

Dinesh Chandimal, Sri Lanka captain: That's a tough call (accomodating Kusal Perera when he's back from injury). Need to discuss with the selectors. Mendis grabbed his opportunity with both hands. Been a really good series as a team. We didn't play as a team, we played as a family. Everyone put their heart and soul in practice. Been a tough last couple of years. This is a really good start to the new year. We got really good combination with youngsters and seniors.

Kusal Mendis, MoM and MoS: Trained very hard. Worked hard with the coaching staff and they gave confidence to keep playing his normal game. Everyone worked very hard and personally very happy to perform for the team.

Mahmudullah, Bangladesh captain: The score could have been chased down. Needed a good start, but we kept losing wickets. Didn't bowl well at all. The wicket was good to bat on. When we were batting, wicket was quite good with dew around. Wasn't much help for spinners. If we could have restricted them to 180, could have chased it down. Need to sit together. Need to work it out of how to bowl on flat wickets. In T20 cricket, you have to have the mindset of being able to chase down 180-190. Shakib is a champion player and a big miss.

20:30 Local Time, 14:30 GMT, 20:00 IST: Plenty of smiles in the Sri Lankan camp as they walk off the field. What a tour it has been for them since losing the first couple of games in the triangular ODI tournament. They bounced back to win that trophy, then won the Test series, and have now swept the T20I series too. An abject batting performance from Bangladesh today, as they got off to a dismal start and were never in the hunt in the chase of 211. The hosts weren't able to defend 193 the other day. They decided to bat second today, but it only proved counter-productive as Sri Lanka racked up the runs with Kusal Mendis opening the floodgates at the top. With the comfort of a huge target, the Lankan bowlers didn't face much of a challenge as Bangladesh were quite happy to capitulate.
