The trophy has been presented and its time for some photos to be clicked with the happy team. Sri Lanka win the series 1-0 and they exchange places with Pakistan in the #2023WTC race. Bangladesh though languish in the bottom two - they'll have no time to brood over it though. They are touring West Indies shortly for another series, another chance to prove that they are a team to be counted, especially in Tests. Sri Lanka fly home and will get ready for a tough assignment, against the high-flying Australians. Plenty of cricket coming up all around the globe and we'll bring you every ball live on your desktop/tablet. For now, cheers and bye..

Dimuth Karunaratne | Winning captain - We knew we needed a couple of wickets to go our way (on the final day). The fast bowlers did the job for us, both in the first innings as well as the second. We do get good wickets for spinners in such conditions, they did well in patches, but I'm a bit disappointed at how they bowled. They'll have to do a lot better in the next series. We have done well as a Test team over the last few years, a lot of performances and we'll need to continue in the same way. We would like to thank the Sri Lankans back home, this win is for them, the country is going through troubled times at the moment.

Angelo Mathews | Player of the Series - Nothing better than getting Test hundreds and winning matches. They made me work extremely hard for my runs though. It's difficult to compare, but two good wickets. Chattogram was flatter, here in Mirpur, there was some life for the bowlers early on, was up and down at times, credit must go to our bowlers. Feeling confident, when you get a start, you'd have to make it count and that's what I did.

Asitha Fernando | Player of the Match - There was a bit of grass on the first morning and it helped the seamers. Then the bounce got variable, needed to keep the ball in the right areas. I must thank Kasun, it was a combined effort to execute our game plan.

Mominul Haque | Losing captain - A disappointing performance, have to work hard. But there were some positives, Rahim and Litton batted really well. They put us under pressure with the new-ball, we'll have to handle it better next time. It's all about the mental thing, need to be mentally strong if we're to comeback in the next series. We have to look after our bowlers, especially the pacers.

14:00 Local Time, 08:00 GMT, 13:30 IST: A comfortable win in the end and Sri Lanka grab 12 vital Test championship points, they also go above Pakistan in the 2023 WTC race. Must say the difference between the two teams was the top-order batting performance. You won't win Tests when you're reduced to 24 for 5 and 23 for 4 in consecutive innings. That's what the hosts found themselves in, courtesy the two Sri Lankan pacers. They recovered in the first dig, thanks to hundreds from Litton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim, as they posted 365. Unlike them, the visitors started strongly and stamped their dominance, with centuries from Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal. 141 was a big deficit and the hosts never recovered from another poor start, with Asitha's 10-wicket haul for the Test leaving them well short. 10 for 144 for the match for Asitha, third-best match figures for a Sri Lankan pacer in Test cricket. Hang on for the post-game presentations..
