So, that brings us to the close of the limited-overs leg of this series. Sri Lanka won the T20I series 2-1 but Bangladesh bounced back in the ODIs to clinch the series 2-1. We will move on to the Test series now. The first Test begins on 22nd March in Sylhet. Do join us for that. Till then, goodbye and cheers!

The glory moment arrives! Shanto has been presented the trophy and he poses for photographs with his mates. Beaming smiles in the Bangladesh camp

Najmul Hossain Shanto | Player of the Series: Tanzid batted really well at the start, the way Mushi batted, I think it helped Rishad's innings. On a wicket like this, the bowlers showed a lot of character, the pacers bowled well and Mehidy also bowled well in the middle overs. Very important for us the Test championship. Last season, we won a match against New Zealand and it's important that we play well this time.

Rishad Hossain | Player of the Match (Translated from bengali): I’m feeling very happy that we won this match. Once I got my eye in, I played my shots and they came off. Mushfiqur told me that if it’s in your zone, you play your shots.

Kusal Mendis: I think we were 40-50 runs short but we bowled well and the fielding was good too. Janith batted really well, couple of wickets fell in the middle overs and he then batted very well. The bowlers had a good game. Lahiru Kumara bowled really well in the first three overs and in the later overs.

The experience of Mushfiqur came to the fore and he kept the scoreboard ticking. He found an able ally in Mehidy Hasan and slowly but steadily, they took the game away from the visitors. A handy 48-run stand between the duo put Bangladesh in the driver's seat. Mehidy fell against the run of play but Rishad Hossain came out all guns blazing. He had played a blinder in a losing cause in the last T20I not long back against Sri Lanka and today, he displayed his hitting range once again. He kept attacking the Lankan bowlers and killed the game on his own. He took Hasaranga to the cleaners as he looted 24 off an over. Mushfiqur eventually hit the winning runs and led his side to a convincing victory. Stick around for the presentations...

17:36 Local Time, 11:36 GMT, 17:06 IST: A fine run-chase from Bangladesh in the finale has enabled them to clinch the ODI series 2-1. Things got a bit nervy at one stage but the hosts were switched on and ensured that they dominate the proceedings. Winning the toss and opting to bat on a tacky surface didn't augur well for Sri Lanka. If not for Liyanage's composed century, they would have been completely on the back foot. In pursuit of 236, Tanzid Hasan who came in as the concussion substitute for Soumya Sarkar (suffered a neck injury) laid the foundation for his side. Anamul and Shanto departed in quick succession but Tanzid continued to score boundaries regularly. Hridoy did the rebuilding job as he took his time but Kumara struck once again, courtesy a short delivery. It was Kumara once again who nicked off Mahmudullah with a beauty. Tanzid's inability to rotate the strike consistently eventually led to his downfall as he holed out in the deep and missed out on a well-deserved century. Once he fell, things were a bit dicey at 130/5.
