So, that's it from our side! Sri Lanka were the much better team in all three departments and have taken an unassailable 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series. Can Bangladesh bounce back at Chattogram to level the series? Or will Sri Lanka continue their dominance? Join us for the second Test which will begin on 30th March. Until then, goodbye and take care!

Dhananjaya de Silva | Player of the Match: Individually very happy for me, the way I performed for the team and get a win outside Sri Lanka. The wicket had something for the fast bowlers and me and Kamindu were talking about playing late and restricting some shots, Kamindu batted really well in his comeback Test match. That’s what I wanted from the No. 7. In second innings, there was not much help like the first innings but our bowlers kept hitting the right areas and it paid off. No idea about it, we have to go and see the conditions, we have to prepare for that.

Najmul Hossain Shanto: It happens sometimes but the way DDS and Kamindu batted it was great, credit to them. Our new-ball bowlers started really well, I'm proud of them. The wicket was good, there was movement early on. We have to improve our new-ball batting. A lot of work has to be done before the next Test. When we go to Chittagong, we will have a plan and hopefully, we will do better. (On Mominul) He played an outstanding knock under pressure and hopefully, he will continue for us this way.

Karunaratne scored a fifty for Sri Lanka in their second innings but the real impact once again came from the duo of Dhananjaya and Kamindu Mendis. They once again mixed caution with aggression and punished the loose balls. Both of them brought up their second century of the match and batted Bangladesh out of the game. The hosts had an uphill task in front of them requiring to chase 511. They were all at sea when they were reduced to 51/6 and the writing was on the wall for them. But, Mominul's grit and determination helped him to play a solid knock as he kept the Sri Lankan bowlers at bay for quite a long period today. Mehidy offered him good support and once he was dismissed by Rajitha, Shoriful also dug in. Rajitha took two wickets in two balls though to break the resistance. Mominul was chasing his century but Nahid Rana couldn't hang around as Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 182. Stick around for the presentations...

13:50 Local Time, 07:50 GMT, 13:20 IST: A dominant performance from Sri Lanka as they register a massive win. Also, this win gives Sri Lanka their first WTC points in this cycle. The visitors were inserted into bat on a grassy surface and the beginning was gloomy for them. They were tottering at 57/5 and after that, Kamindu Mendis was dropped off his first ball in the slip cordon and that was perhaps the turning point in the game. The duo of Dhananjaya and Kamindu counterattacked as they stitched a 202-run stand together, also bringing up their respective centuries. The visitors were eventually bowled out for 280 but it was a decent score on a variable surface. In reply, Bangladesh were found wanting with the bat. The fact that Taijul was their highest run-scorer tells you the story. The hosts ended up conceding a crucial 92-run lead.

Lahiru Kumara to Nahid Rana, out Caught by Dhananjaya!! That's the final nail in the coffin! A sharp shortish delivery angling in and cramping Nahid Rana for room. He looks to fend it off but only manages to get it off the shoulder of the bat as the ball lobs behind. Dhananjaya takes a few steps behind from second slip and gobbles it up. A thumping 328-run win for Sri Lanka and they take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series. Nahid Rana c Dhananjaya b Lahiru Kumara 0(8)
