That's it from this game. Sri Lanka have bought some form going into the World Cup. Props to Scotland for showing some resolve after the rain break and their next International assignment is in August. Until next time, it's a goodbye from all of us here. Ta-ta!
19:43 Local Time: That was a tame finish in the end from Scotland, throwing away wickets in haste. Anyway, comfortable victory for the visitors. At one point of time, it looked highly unlikely that we'd have a restart with rain playing hide and seek, but both teams were always hopeful and were keen to take the field. Finally, once the rain came to a halt, the match was reduced to a 7-over affair with Scotland needing 103 to win. It looked difficult but Munsey smashed 19 runs in the first over after the break and lifted the spirits in the hosts' camp. But the Sri Lankan bowlers executed their plans by applying brakes in the next few overs and Pradeep's twin strike dented Scotland's prospects. It was a mere formality after that and the home team were bowled out for 199.
Dhananjaya de Silva to Mark Watt, out Wheal Run Out!! It's all over. Sri Lanka win by 35 runs, courtesy DL method. Meek surrender from Scotland. Driven to extra cover and Wheal wanted a single but he was sent back by his partner. Sri Lanka's captain calmly threw it to the bowler - who took off the bails to catch Wheal well short of his crease. Wheal run out (Karunaratne/Dhananjaya de Silva) 0(0)
Dhananjaya de Silva to Mark Watt, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!
Bradley Wheal, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Dhananjaya de Silva to Mark Watt, out Evans Run Out!! 1 run completed. Shoddy running. There was never a two there but they took the game and Evans paid the price. Lifted towards long-off and Watt called for two. His partner was always struggling and the fielder fired an accurate throw to the bowler - who effected the run-out. He was nowhere in the frame. Evans run out (Perera/Dhananjaya de Silva) 1(2)
Dhananjaya de Silva to Mark Watt, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!
Dhananjaya de Silva [5.0-0-29-0] is back into the attack
Final over coming up. 37 required. A matter of hitting 6 sixes to tie the game.

Perera to Mark Watt, FOUR, scooped over short fine leg. Homing in at the stumps, Watt moves across and helps it over the man at 45
Perera to Evans, 1 run, this short ball hurries Evans, getting big on him. Splices it in front of square leg
Perera to Evans, no run, full outside off, Evans wafts his bat hard and trims only cool Edinburgh air
Perera to Mark Watt, 1 run, back of the hand slower ball, Watt charges out and aims for a downtown loft, gets it off the inner half to short fine leg
Alasdair Evans, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Perera to Tom Sole, out Caught by Karunaratne!! Skipper holds onto one safely. So, Scotland are falling apart. Pitched up just outside off, Sole simply had to go for it and the balance goes for a toss as he slices it off the outer half up in the air towards extra cover. Easy-peasy for Karunaratne.
