That's all we have from this game. South Africa, like always, are a force to reckon. No matter where they play. Sri Lanka should bounce back strongly and as AB pointed out, expecting a better fight from them in the next game which is on Wednesday, the 1st of February. That's a day-night affair. Thanks for joining us. See you in Durban. Enjoy your weekend...

Imran Tahir - Man of the Match: Very happy. It was a pleasing day for me and the team. I just need to believe that I can do well. I've been working really hard and don't take anything for granted. Playing for South Africa has been a huge honour for me. It's my wedding anniversary and my wife asked to take a fifer and eventually win Man of the Match. I'm happy I got three. I always use my variations and make the batsman think. The most pleasing thing is I bowled according to the plan. Our fast bowlers did really well and like I said, I absolutely love performing for South Africa. Every time I play for this great nation and great team, that's what keeps me going.

AB: I thought it was a really good performance. The wicket was a bit two-paced, much like Sri Lankan home conditions, but the new ball bowlers bowled with a lot of intensity. Can't ask more from them. There's more than enough time to settle in the side, we've got enough experience in the side to come up with good plans. It's still a tricky total, especially their spinners whom we didn't see much. Hash and de Kock did well by getting us off to a solid start. They came back properly in the T20 series, easy one for us today, but I'm expecting a better fight from them in the next game.

Tharanga: Chandimal and Mendis had a good partnership, but we struggled after that. The wicket was slow, their bowlers stuck to the plans and bowled much better. It's about spinners in these sort of games, our spinners couldn't control as we didn't put runs on the board. We have to sit together have a chat and work on areas we need to improve.

Sri Lanka under 19s have defended 156 at the Boland Park in Paarl which is just 431 miles away from this venue. Their seniors though didn't even come close to defending. Lakshan Sandakan was the only bowler who looked like taking wickets. The rest lacked intensity, allowing the Protea batsmen to stitch three 50-run partnerships. First of which came in the form of QDK and Amla, the openers, which was then followed by Amla-Faf and Faf-AB stand. The pitch was definitely slow, but South African batsmen just showed how it is done. Time for presentations....
