Tour done and dusted. South Africa's home summer ends on a high, much like every home team does these days. Both South Africa and Sri Lanka will be taking flight tomorrow, both to two different Antipodean nations. South Africa to New Zealand (Guess It's unfair to remind what happened last time they where there) and Sri Lanka to Australia. One thing that gives hope for Sri Lanka is that they have won the T20I series here. There's plenty of action coming your way in the coming weeks. Thanks for your company. Need to put my feet up. Goodbye from the team!!

AB receives the trophy from Haroon Lorgat, his team mates join now and rest....you know

ABD: We wanted to bowl first and there is a bit of dew towards the end. All in all, it was a very good performance from the boys, I'm really proud of them. I don't feel that we had the perfect game in these 5 games, we have areas to work on, but we go to New Zealand with a lot of positives. I was pretty pleased with the bowling. 4 out of 5 games we bowled them out, today we came close. There is a lot of depth in the bowling, but as I said the dew factor made it hard for the bowlers today. We lost the World Cup semi final there and looking forward to a really exciting series in New Zealand.

Man of the Series, FAF: It's been a nice series. I got some big scores and pretty happy. We have got lots of guys putting their hands up at different stages. Every time I go back I forgot about what happened in the previous game and just look to hit the ball well in nets. Just about making sure I keep ticking the technical boxes. Playing the ball really nice and late. My ankle was a bit painful towards the end, but nothing to worry.

Man of the Match - who else - Hashim Amla: Missed out on the first couple of games and nice to get a hundred here. There are a few loose balls upfront and I was just playing a passive role when Quinty got going. Fortunately, we have managed to score past 350 quite a few times. The game was nicely set up. We got a good total. Lot of the guys got runs and it has been a really nice series. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing at home and looking forward to a tough series in New Zealand.

Tharanga: We knew its not going to be easy. There are young players and I hope they learn a lot from series like this. The target is too huge and we lost too many wickets in the first 15 overs. There are lots of positives. We have got a very young team. It's a very good experience for them. We are going to Australia after this. Looking forward to that. Congratulations to South Africa team, they have played really well throughout.

21:30 Local time: 48 days of ordeal comes to and end. For Sri Lanka of course. Asela Gunaratne became the second Sri Lankan batsman on this tour to record a hundred, that's practically the second positive for them. Chasing 385, they lost 5 wickets inside 15 overs. A 97-run stand between Gunaratne and Pathirana followed, and then the former went all guns blazing towards the end, claiming his maiden ODI ton in the process. South African bowlers, bar Morris, were quite off radar today. Didn't turn up at all. Not particularly impressed with AB's captaincy for he didn't go for the kill once Sri Lanka lost half their side. These two sides will next face in the champions Trophy which is not far away. Plenty of lessons to be learnt for both teams. Sri Lanka impressed in the final 2 games, but not quite. Presentations imminent...
