South Africa have won the series and their next target would be to inflict a whitewash on Sri Lanka. Quinton de Kock was at his usual best today, just like he's been in the entire series. He was frustrated after getting out in the 90s in the previous match but he'll have a peaceful sleep tonight. South Africa would like to give chances to few other players in the remaining two games but they shouldn't get complacent with World Cup just around the corner. That's all we've got for you from this match. Hope you guys enjoyed our coverage. This is Nikhil signing off on behalf of Akshay Maanay and Shashikant Singh. Adios!
Faf du Plessis: Our batting was one thing where we were looking for consistency. The guys were brilliant at the the top. We had good partnerships right throughout. Normally it's a bit difficult at Durban. We have good hitters in our team and we're blessed to have that. They can play solid cricket shots towards the death overs. Rain affected games are not nice but we bowled well upfront. We got two more games to go and the plan is to look about the big picture and implement our plans. The selection for the remaining two ODIs will be released tomorrow.
Quinton de Kock, MoM: I train really hard and make sure to be in my groove. A lot of practice can be mentally tiring so I try to stay away from that. It's just a mental thing. I have been hungry to score big runs. It's a good mindset I am in that's working for me. I have been scoring a lot of 80s and 90s lately, so getting a century was pleasing for me. We just need to keep doing what we're doing and enjoy the game.
Lasith Malinga: I think first half when we were bowling, we misfielded and gave away 15-20 runs more. We got a good start but it got hard due to the DLS method to chase down the target. After the rain, the batsmen couldn't do anything. Kamindu is a good player as he can bowl with both hands, that's a plus point for us in future matches. We want to give more opportunities to the players.
18:54 Local Time, 16:54 GMT, 22:24 IST: Sri Lanka had a very slim chance once play resumed after the rain break - 118 off 48 - losing Oshada Fernando in the first over did not help either. Kusal Mendis kept going though and smashed a couple of sixes off Shamsi, but Tahir sent him packing in the very next over to seal the game. Before rain stopped play, the visitors were rocked early as Dickwella went for a low score and Avishka Fernando threw away a start. Rabada and Ngidi were excellent at the top, bowling with a lot of pace and hitting the bat hard and in the process accounting for the openers. Hang around for the presentations..

Tahir to Udana, no run, South Africa win by 71 runs. It was just a formality once the revised target and overs were set. Sri Lanka were happy to just bat out the overs. Wrong 'un and Udana is beaten on the inside edge, struck around the kneeroll in front of middle stump and ball-tracking showed it to be spinning down leg
South Africa review: Tahir wants another wicket added to his ODI tally. He literally forced Faf to take the review. Fair delivery. No bat as UltraEdge confirms it. Ball-tracking shows it to be missing leg-stump. Not Out!
Tahir to Udana, no run, attacks the stumps with a slider, Udana is happy to defend it back to Tahir
Tahir to Udana, no run, flighted outside off, Udana presses forward and blocks it back
Tahir to Kamindu Mendis, 1 run, quicker and flatter, Mendis flicks it through the open mid-wicket area
Tahir to Kamindu Mendis, no run, spinning in and Mendis ekes out an inside edge onto the pad, the ball nutmegs de Kock and rolls to short third man
Tahir to Kamindu Mendis, no run, googly around off, Mendis pushes it gently towards cover
Tahir to Kamindu Mendis, wide, wrong 'un that spins away too much for the umpire's liking, wide called outside off

Shamsi to Udana, no run, wrong 'un and Udana had no clue about it, he pushed forward to work it into the leg-side and is beaten comprehensively
