Sri Lanka won by 257 runs
PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Rangana Herath
Bowler
Zimbabwe can take a lot of heart from the series. They fought hard, put up stiffer resistance and competed ably till the final day in both the Tests. Meanwhile, it was supposed to be a warm-up tour for Sri Lanka before they embark their journey to South Africa. Despite the absence of Mathews and Chandimal, Rangana Herath has led from the front and has been outstanding with the ball claiming 19 wickets in the series. All said and done. So, what lies ahead? There's a tri-series coming up which starts on the 14th of November with West Indies joining both these sides. Do join us for some white-ball action. For now, it's a goodbye from all of us here. Cya!
All smiles as he collects the trophy. Poses for the camera and his teammates engulf him in joy.
Herath (Man of the Match): "I'm trying my best to improve. I haven't decided anything and don't think about records. I will take it one series after the other. I need to consider my fitness as well."
Here comes the man-of-the-moment
Karunaratne: "I think I had a lot of struggle in the Australia series. After that I played 18 matches and scored some runs. That gave me confidence here. I enjoy playing here. I''ll be available for the ODI''s if the selectors pick me (chuckles)."
Karunaratne is the Man of the Series
Cremer: "Yeah, definitely. Lot of positives came out but credit to SL, they have outplayed us. The guys have worked hard, we had a good preparation. We like playing here. We think ourselves more of a shorter format team. Looking forward to put up a good show in the ODIs."
Cremer: " "
Medallions are being handed over to the players and the match officials.
Time for presentations..
With a lead of 232, Herath decided to bat again. Karunaratne stood tall at one end watching his partners fall apart at the other end scoring 88.
Zimbabwe have been annihilated here at the Harare Sports Club. Perhaps one can say, they have been Herath-ed. What a performance from the champion bowler. In the absence of Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal, he has led his team superbly. 13 wickets in the match for him. A good all-round performance from the Islanders. Opting bat first, they we in a spot of bother at 112-4. But, Tharanga, de Silva and Gunaratne bailed their team out of that tricky situation and ensured they posted a mammoth first innings. After two failures in the first match, Brian Chari's spot in the team was at stake. He notched up his first Test fifty and promised a fightback. But that promise lasted only for a brief period as the final six Zimbabwean wickets fell for 62 runs and eventually bundled out for 272 without avoiding the follow-on.

Herath to Mpofu, out Lbw!! That's it! All over! They needed less than 50 minutes to scalp the final three. All the three for Herath and he finishes with 8 wickets. Coming to the delivery, it was an arm ball, that Mpofu didn't spot. He looked to defend it and got pinged on the front leg in front of off and middle. The ball would have gone onto hit the middle pole. Mpofu wants to go upstairs, but there's no review left! Sri Lanka win the series 2-0. Mpofu lbw b Herath 20(17) [6s-2]

Dilruwan Perera to Mpofu, SIX, way she goes! Another mighty hit from Mpofu! Two slog sweeps for two maximums. A slower delivery on off, Mpofu gets low and smacks it over the mid-wicket fence
