And that's that for tonight. South Africa, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have earned automatic qualification for the 2019 World Cup. Windies will take part in the qualifiers in Zimbabwe next year. The next ODI's at Trent Bridge on Thursday. A day-nighter indeed. Do remember to join us. Good night!!

Bairstow, Man of the Match: . That wasn't happening again (he got out on 99 during the Test series against South Africa this summer). Said Stokes at the half-way down..said not again, then he ran down and bobbed it for six and I thought here we go, he fancies it. Not a great time to slip, but delighted I got back to the third run (when running on 99). Seems a long time ago since I had made my debut in ODI cricket. There's been ups and downs along the way. When you get a chance, you gotta come in and take your chances, especially with the strength in our England side. We got a serious belief in the side and we feel we didn't necessarily do justice in the Champions Trophy and going forward to the World Cup and obviously this series, we need to rectify that. I'm a lot stiffer (in the fielding).

Morgan: We came back really well. The West Indies started off really well and our bowlers executed exceptionally well with the slower balls. Joe Root doesn't drop many catches, obviously a difficult one that. Adil managed to bowl well and the bowling unit in general have done well. Being there at the end and staying hungry, great way for him (Bairstow) to begin the series.

Holder: Probably 30-40 runs short. Didn't bowl as well as we should have. Need to rotate the strike more and that's been an area of concern for a while now for us. I felt we lost wickets at crucial stages and that didn't help the momentum. Just a bit too inconsistent. A lot of work to be done. Want to focus on this series first and come back strong for TrentBrdge in two days time.

20:18 local: After Alex Hales fell for 19, the Yorkshire boys - Bairstow and Root - got into the act and kept pecking at the target with supreme ease. Root and Morgan got out at a time when England were in complete control, but, Bairstow carried on and proved, once again, what he's capable given an opportunity in the white ball format. A maiden ODI century to cap off what has been an amazing night for him and his side...

Nurse to Stokes, SIX, what a way to finish it off. Down the pitch and boom over long-on. England win by 7 wickets and go 1-0 up in the 5-match series which means Windies have to play the World Cup qualifiers next year. Sri Lanka will feel relieved. They are through...

30.4

Nurse to Stokes, 2 runs, worked into the gap at mid-wicket

30.3

C

Nurse to Bairstow, 3 runs, maiden ODI hundred for Jonny Bairstow. What a delight. He's pumped and gets a warm round of applause from the OT crowd. A special hundred and a hundred that he'll remember for a long, long time. Got there with a dance-down-the-pitch-thrash-drive through covers. Slipped briefly while coming back for the third, but didn't lose focus...ran like a marathon runner in the end

30.2

Nurse to Bairstow, no run, short and turning in, Bairstow cuts and finds the fielder once again

30.1

Nurse to Bairstow, no run, drilled hard, cam't get it past extra cover

Kesrick Williams to Bairstow, 1 run, short ball outside off, Bairstow leans back and ramps to third man, on the bounce of course

29.4

Kesrick Williams to Stokes, 1 run, a firm push to mid-off and they take on the fielder's arm. Bishoo was the fielder and Stokes gave it all while sprinting to the other end

29.2
