A strong response this from West Indies, who'll head to Mumbai with great belief. It's a venue their shot-makers should enjoy, not to mention the fond memories from the 2016 World T20 semifinal. India with a challenge on their hands. Should be a cracker. That's all from us for today. Until the decider, it's goodbye!

Simmons, MoM: Like playing against India, it's a good challenge. Haven't played international cricket for a while, good to be back on the circuit, playing for the West Indies. Those guys can go at it from ball one, they have a different type of talent. I'm a bit old school. Take my time initially. I understand my game, understand my role in the team. My job in the powerplay is to go hard. Easier to bat outside the powerplay, knock the ball around and get the odd-boundary. Once you get in on that wicket, you can play your shots, and I just did that today.

Pollard: These things happen. Different circumstances have contributed to where we are (on the ICC table). Can't control the past. Guys came back very well in the field, being able to restrict to 170, after the start they got. The way we batted - the guys executed perfectly. It was fantastic. Very excited for some of the guys who've come out of the CPL doing well. Some of those senior guys will be back, but excited for these guys, we have to deal with what we have in front of us. Kesrick bouncing back after the last game was fantastic. Simmons started off slow, but he's an experienced cricketer now. The way you guys speak about me, you think I am a veteran, huh? Continuing to enjoy my cricket, I have played a lot of cricket in India. Can pass on the knowledge to these guys. Pride myself as being a leader, I have been in trouble lot of time. Every time I come on the cricket field, I try to win. Thing for us is to keep calm. There are areas to improve on. The wides, the no-balls. Even I was a bit guilty about it, but we'll improve that at Wankhede.

Kohli: Could say that (Stats showing batting first a problem). Numbers say a lot of things, and a lot of things that aren't there as well. You expect to get 40-45 in last four overs, not 30. Shivam's knock propelled us. If you field like that, no total is good enough. With the ball we were good, the first four overs. But if you drop chances, it's going to cost you. Fielding is something - we need to be more brave. We knew the pitch is going to help spinners, so we thought why not Shivam go up and attack the spinner. That was the plan, worked very well. It was one of those catches that just stuck. Committed to the ball, stretched both hands - last match I went with just one hand.

Aryan Joshi: A very noticeable fact. Whenever Chahal doesn't perform well in a game, India loses. Others bowlers will need to step up in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.

Tarun: This match confirms that India needs to strengthen their bowling and target more true all-rounders in the T20 version who are wicket taking bowlers also. You can't always expect batting to score big. 'For a start, getting Bumrah back will be a big help'

Nicholas Pooran - No pressure at all, we can panic while batting first, but we just need to build partnerships batting second. We read the conditions well and played our shots. I have worked hard, it's finally paying off a bit. Cricket is all about having fun for me, i have worked hard on my batting and looking to get better.

First win for West Indies against India in eight T20Is.

22:26 Local Time, 16:56 GMT, 22:26 IST: They've chased it down with 1.3 overs to spare on a pitch that wasn't easy, at least when India were batting. Dew helped. But West Indies have done it with a lot of flair and a lot of shots. Evin Lewis provided the initial burst, allowing Lendl Simmons enough time to shake off his rust. But once Simmons started to like the feel of that bottom hand, he was unstoppable. Washington Sundar got rid of Lewis with a brilliant piece of off-break bowling, but it wasn't enough to compensate for his hideous drop of Simmons earlier, as he unleashed brutally on the Indian attack enroute an unbeaten 67. Hetmyer chipped in with a couple of blows along the way, before Pooran came in and played an exhilarating cameo to knock India out for good measure. All square then going into the third and final T20I. Presentations coming your way.

India in T20Is since Jan 2018:
Batting 1st (16 mat): 8 wins & 8 losses
Batting 2nd (18 mat): 14 wins & 3 losses (One NR)

Yagyansh: Pooran is an amazing prospect for WI, not only for limited overs but also for Test Cricket, of course only after he matures. He holds his shape, is a great timer of the ball and if guided properly can be a Sehwag or a Davy or a Gayle.

Harsha Bhogle: I thought the chase would be more difficult. Yes, the ball was a bit moist, but can't let that take away from an excellent West Indies run chase

18.3

Chahar to Pooran, FOUR, that'll do it. Slower short ball that sits up for Pooran who pulls it to the midwicket boundary. West Indies are level and we're going to Mumbai for the decider

18.2

Chahar to Simmons, 1 run, squeezes the yorker to short third man

18.1

Chahar to Simmons, no run, into the blockhole outside off, jammed out

Bhuvneshwar to Pooran, SIX, picked up emphatically into the crowd. A glimpse of why Pooran gets people excited. Stunning shot executed with such ease. Back of a length on leg, not short enough for the pull but try explaining that to Pooran who's whipped it so gloriously over long leg

17.5

Bhuvneshwar to Simmons, 1 run, yorker length around leg stump, flicked through to deep backward square

17.4

Bhuvneshwar to Pooran, 1 run, eases this down to long-off

17.3

Bhuvneshwar to Simmons, 1 run, short of length at the body, pulled to long leg

17.2

Bhuvneshwar to Pooran, 1 run, back of a length delivery on leg, slower one, gently nudged wide of midwicket by Pooran

Bhuvneshwar to Pooran, FOUR, blistering drive through extra cover. They're doing it so easily. Full ball outside off, Pooran cracks it to the boundary off the front foot

16.6

Chahar to Simmons, SIX, belts it over long-off. Brings the run-rate under six. Full outside off from Chahar, Simmons shuffles and nails. That bottom hand proving destructive again

16.6

Chahar to Simmons, wide, has the length right on this wide yorker, but he's gone too far wide. And even though Simmons had walked across, there was no getting away for Chahar
