That's a wrap to what was a rather one-sided contest. It was NZ all the way and it would take something special from the tourists to prevent a whitewash. Join us tomorrow for the final game of the series. For now, you can switch tabs and enjoy the IND-AUS game that's on. Until next time, it's a goodbye from us.

Tim Southee | Winning captain: Always good to win the series. We spoke about certain things after Eden Park and pleased to have done that right. Incredible day for him (Phillips). He's always been good in the CPL and it's great to see him do well. Yeah, he (Conway) was brilliant in his first taste of international cricket. He's always had the talent and it's great to see him step up. The guys are really focussed and we'll hope to sign off with a win tomorrow. The bowlers executed really well, making it hard for the West Indies batsmen to get going.

Kieron Pollard | Losing captain: 100 percent went in the opposite direction of what we wanted to plan and execute. When we're bad, we go really bad. We had them in their first 10 overs but between 10-15 overs, we let things slip. The fielding was not upto the mark and I think it's a mindset issue than a technical thing. Toss is 50-50 but we opted to bowl to see if the fast/swing bowlers would get any movement. That didn't work. Getting them down to 190-200 would have been okay but as I said, they got away from us from overs 10-15.

Glenn Phillips | Player of the Match: Nice to be able to be up there with him (Munro) on the leaderboard. Batting with Dev (Conway) was incredible. (On him doing well against WI and in CPL) You always go with confidence against guys you have done well against. New ground and I tried to adapt as much as I could. All the coaches and players that I grew up with are a major part of who I am today.

18:18 Local Time, 05:18 GMT, 10:48 IST: This was never a contest. Except maybe in the first half of NZ's innings. Once Phillips-Conway did what they did, this game seemed done. Even with the kind of power West Indies possessed. The visitors never got going in the run chase and although there were a few lusty blows, the innings blew hot and cold too often to give them any chance in this tall chase. Ferguson once again impressed, so did Jamieson with his new ball spell that set the tone for the hosts. If the NZ bowling was spot on, their fielding was mighty impressive too and they clearly outfielded their counterparts. In hindsight, WI will rue that spell from overs 10-15 in the first innings when they let things off the hook drastically. As much as it was brilliant batting, the bowling was very ordinary too.

Ish Sodhi

4-0-26-1

19.6

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, 1 run, NZ pocket the series with a hammering win! Paul makes room and mistimes this flat-batted hit towards long-off, one bounce to the fielder

19.5

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, no run, flatter and outside off, drilled down the ground to long-on. Denies the single, as he has been all the over

19.4

6

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, SIX, down the track he goes and although he isn't exactly to the pitch of this one, goes through with the stroke over long-on. Clears the fence with ease

19.3

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, no run, flatter and on off, Paul smacks this straight back past Sodhi who gets a hand on this but was never trying to catch this. Struck that hard and it goes down to long-off

19.2

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, no run, slower and wider this time, does Paul in flight as he charges down for the slog sweep but misses. Drags himself back in quickly

19.1

Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, no run, flattish half-tracker, skids off and induces an under-edge as Paul looks to pull off the back foot. Trickles to short fine leg

Ish Sodhi [3.0-0-19-1] is back into the attack

Last rites then. Sodhi to finish off.

Tim Southee

4-0-49-1

18.6

Southee to Keemo Paul, 1 run, slower ball, wider outside off, chopped to point

18.5

6

Southee to Keemo Paul, SIX, cracking sound off the blade and it's gone deep into the crowd! Length ball, Paul swipes it over deep mid-wicket for a big maximum

18.4

Southee to Keemo Paul, no run, back of a length outside off, Paul jams it to the off-side

18.3

Southee to Keemo Paul, 2 runs, chance goes down! Phillips proves that he is human after all. Doesn't judge this skier properly and lets it through his hands eventually. Was a miscue from Paul who got foxed by the slower ball a bit, chipped this high on the off-side towards the cover region

18.2

6

Southee to Keemo Paul, SIX, in the air....to Santner again...but this is over him! Paul gets more power on the slog and whacks this over cow corner

18.1

Southee to Keemo Paul, no run, almost a stunner from Santner! Technically a dropped chance but that's being harsh, because this was one heck of an effort near the fence! Paul went hard on the slog and it was going flat at real pace. Santner timed his dive well but couldn't quite latch on. By his standards, he will be disappointed for sure

Oshane Thomas, left handed bat, comes to the crease
