A strong performance from Pakistan to kick off the series. The first two games are back-to-back and West Indies need a win tomorrow to stay alive. Join us then. Goodbye!

Babar Azam: The way we batted. The way Rizwan batted, and Haider, and the way we continued the momentum. The finish from Nawaz was outstanding. Spinners were getting good help. They put pressure on them. Will go back and see what combination we'll have for tomorrow.

Nicholas Pooran: We gave away 20 runs in the field. Few boundaries were of edges so felt undone there. Felt we could've chased 200. Everyone knows we have a young bunch, comes down to execution. It's about learning as fast as possible.

Haider Ali, Player of the Match: Would rate this innings 10/10. Rizwan supported me to build my innings. Got a good score in the end. The way Rizwan played, it inspired confidence. Pitch was a little difficult, was helping spinners. I'm willing to play wherever the team wants.

21:51 Local Time, 16:51 GMT, 22:21 IST: Pakistan now have 18 wins in T20Is in 2021, the most by any team in a year, beating their own record. They've completely outplayed West Indies tonight. A big score with the bat, thanks to brilliant knocks from Rizwan and Haider and also a late flourish from Nawaz that saw them take 45 off their final three overs to finish with 200 on the board. As it proved, it was way too much on a pitch that was offering quite a bit of turn. Shadab bowled beautifully for his 3/17, while Wasim ripped out a few poles with his yorkers. A very uninspiring effort from the visitors who came in with a lot of changes from the World Cup, but have a long way to go. Presentations should be here soon.

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Thomas, out Bowled!! Right through his defence, seals the win for Pakistan in style. Skiddy length ball from round the wicket, slants in and goes through the huge gap between bat and pad. Crashes into the stumps. Thomas b Mohammad Wasim Jr 1(3)

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Thomas, wide, down the leg-side, Thomas misses his flick

18.5

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Akeal Hosein, 1 run, tries a yorker on leg stump, overpitches and is flicked through square leg

There's a delay because while marking his guard with the bail, Hosein has broken it. A part of it is stuck inside the pitch. Well there's something you've never seen

18.4

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Thomas, 1 run, low full toss slung away from off stump, Thomas knocks it in front of cover. Hosein isn't exactly charging across for the single and a direct hit would've had him

18.3

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Thomas, no run, goes for another yorker, it's just short, Thomas jams it down the pitch

Oshane Thomas, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Mohammad Wasim Jr to Shepherd, out Bowled!! Third wicket for Wasim tonight and they've all been off superb yorkers. Shepherd goes hard at it, gets a bit of the toe-end and drags it onto leg stump. Shepherd b Mohammad Wasim Jr 21(16) [4s-2 6s-1]
