And it's 2-0 to Pakistan. That's the end of the T20 action for the day, but there's another dead rubber coming up in a couple of days' time. The West Indies did run them close today, but simply couldn't finish it off, and that's made the big difference here in Karachi. That's it from us at Cricbuzz - a new day and more T20 action beckons tomorrow. Cheers and good night!
Babar Azam | Pakistan captain: I think the finish was great in our batting innings. 170-180 was a good score and the bowlers did well, including the pacers and spinners, so it was a good team effort. We should defend the target well, according to the conditions, and we planned really well. Whether we bat or bowl, we made an effort, and that's in our hands. The group is developing very well, including Wasim, and how these youngsters are evolving. They'll only get better with time. We'll try to go into the next game with a different combination and give everyone a chance.
Nic Pooran | West Indies captain: Tough one, big improvement, but we lost wickets because we were silly, including me, but lots of good cricket. Odean was really good, they bowled really well, we had a simple plan, and we just didn't execute properly. We wanted to take it to the 20th over, we played the first 10 really well, but made some mistakes, and I thought one of King and I should have gone deep, and Shepherd was fantastic. So I hope we can bounce back in the third game.
Shadab Khan | Man of the Match | (28* off 12 ; 4-0-22-0): When I bat, it's the death overs, and you have 4-5 balls and I practice that kind of batting, which is range-hitting and it came to fruition today. The field shows what the bowler is planning and that's how I planned my batting. With the ball, I wasn't able to get the ball to grip on the pitch, but I wanted bowl good areas, and keep the runs down.
21:52 Local Time, 16:52 GMT, 22:22 IST: Pakistan take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. It was always alive. Until the end, it was alive. A terrific innings up top from King, though he could've accelerated a little more when he was in. However, given the wickets falling around him, it was the kind of innings required off him. Other than King and Pooran, there were simply no partnerships of note, as Shaheen and co. applied pressure equally and shared the spoils, but Shepherd did dig the corpse out of a shallow grave only for the the match and the series to give up on him, despite all his efforts to resuscitate it - courtesy Shaheen's second-to-last over, in particular, that really tilted the match Pakistan's way, with 4 runs and three wickets. Presentations coming up in a bit.

Haris Rauf to Thomas, out Bowled!! That's the end. The only dead moment in this match, as this blockhole ball crashes into the stumps. Thomas is yorked, and Haris Rauf has done it - saved it in the direst of situations. Thomas b Haris Rauf 0(1)
Haris Rauf to Thomas, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
Only three in the circle. And it would've been a no-ball if he bowled that ball. Good spot by Pakistan.
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, 1 run, he's nearly clobbered that for four to deep extra cover but Asif Ali gets his knee in the way! A run taken and 10 to win from 1.
11 off 2. 2 sixes for a win. A six and a four for a - Don't say it - S***r-o**r.
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, FOUR, it's still alive! Tries to club this over long-off, ends up slicing it high into the sky and it bounces away towards the third man fence for four
SM: "That 3-wicket over by Shaheen surely changed the plot of the game. It was needed for Pakistan after the 15 run over."
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, no run, gets it in the blockhole, bunted down the ground and they're not running. 15 off 3. They've gotta go. NOW.
15 off 4. One more six, and it's going to get intense. Another, and it's West Indies' game to lose.
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, SIX, SIX NO. 1! Picks this up from a length, and clobbers this in front of deep square leg for six!
Haris Rauf to Shepherd, 2 runs, massive slice off a length, as Shepherd backs into the leg-side and throws his hands at it, skies it into orbit towards point, and Shadab in the deep fully misjudges it...
Haris Rauf [3.0-0-27-1] is back into the attack
23 off 6 with Shepherd on strike. Haris Rauf, it should be. It is. Here we go. Sherpherd on strike.

Shaheen Afridi to Shepherd, 1 run, pushed to cover softly for a quick single, an overthrow, but nope, they're not going to run anymore.
Shaheen Afridi to Shepherd, no run, walks across and clubs it down to long-on, doesn't run! He's got to Shepherd the chase from here. And farm the strike. Not the time for puns? Okay.
Oshane Thomas, left handed bat, comes to the crease
