Sri Lanka lift the trophy, while also picking up a lot of positives from this series, probably none greater than Wanindu Hasaranga who's right in the centre with the trophy in his hands. They've struggled in international cricket for too long now, and these pictures out there - with Mickey Arthur sporting the biggest of smiles - offer hope for a brighter future. That's all we have for you from this series. The West Indies will be back strong for the T20Is, no doubt. Until then, it's goodbye from Sagar Chawla on behalf of Varun Dixit and Vinod.
Karunaratne, SL captain: Angelo put his hand up in the absence of Pradeep. He used his experience which is what I was expecting. Have to keep the team work going like we've done this series. This kind of matches give confidence. Beating West Indies 3-0 is not easy. We did small things right. Bowlers, batters, fielders put their hands up. Huge confidence boost for us going into the next series. We knew they can hit big sixes, that's why we were talking about it in the end what to do. Mathews used his experience in the end, got a couple of wickets. Avishka and Kusal put their hands up in the second game to get hundreds, even this match they played positively. Mathews was outstanding with fielding and bowling pretty well. He looks like a younger man now. Want to keep this momentum for the England series as well. Thanks to the crowd for the support at every venue. Hoping for the same in the T20Is.
Kieron Pollard, WI captain: Always disappointing to lose. Fell short a bit in the field, could've restricted them to 280-290. But the way the guys went out to chase a 300-plus total, it was brilliant. But my question would be why can't we do that from the start. Have to be consistent with the ball. We're a bit inconsistent as a bowling lineup. We aren't setting up the over well. Mathews used the surface nicely. Look forward to play the T20Is. Have a couple of guys come back into the team, guys who've been around the world playing T20 cricket. Hopefully we come out on top.
Wanindu Hasaranga, Man of the Series: Extremely happy. Have worked hard and will continue to do so. Try to adjust my pace, try to bowl straight and trouble the batsmen. Would love to play Test cricket.
Mathews, MoM: Body feeling good. Had a horrible series with the bat. Very disappointed about that. But glad that I was able to contribute with the ball and on the field. Can't remember the last time I bowled 10 overs. If the team needs me to do more of that, I will. Had to do it tonight especially when Pradeep got injured. Wasn't easy against them, especially with the amount of T20 they play. You miss your length and it'll go for six.
Sri Lanka ODI series win at home (since Jan 2015):
3-0 vs West Indies 2015
3-0 vs Bangladesh 2019
3-0 vs West Indies 2020*
Isuru Udana: That was a very close game. When we scored 307, we knew we had to use our variations well because this was a slow wicket. The wicket helped us. My plan was to bowl wider. Angelo Mathews is playing really well for us. We are happy to win this series against West Indies.
22:43 Local Time, 17:13 GMT, 22:43 IST: Angelo Mathews has taken Sri Lanka over the line with a phenomenal bowling display. It's the first time he's bowled all 10 overs in over four years, and he was on song for most of them, particularly when things got tight. In the end, it came down to his wily slower balls against the stunning power-hitting force of Fabian Allen, and Mathews emerged victorious to help Sri Lanka complete a 3-0 whitewash. He had earlier also got rid of Nicholas Pooran and a flying Kieron Pollard to lift Sri Lanka who lost a reliable death-overs option in Nuwan Pradeep after he pulled up in his fifth over. They needed someone to step up in his absence, and Mathews did just that. We'll hear more from him in the presentations I bet..

Mathews to Alzarri Joseph, no run, Mathews's roar probably drowns the collective one from the whole of Pallekele. He is pumped, having sealed the deal with another slower one. Kept it well out of Joseph's reach whose slog-sweep was bound for failure. Sri Lanka complete the 3-0 whitewash
Mathews to Cottrell, 1 run, why won't you come back for two? Why? The best West Indies can do now is tie this. Full at the stumps, Cottrell drags it behind square and they settle for one
Mathews to Cottrell, no run, big roar from the crowd as there's another swing and miss from Cottrell. Back of a length outside off, loops over Cottrell's heave owing to the spongy bounce which Mathews has produced all evening with his slower balls
Mathews to Cottrell, wide, slow and wide outside off, Cottrell has the awareness in this crazy situation to let it go for a wide
Mathews to Cottrell, no run, Cottrell swings wildly at a length ball outside off but doesn't connect
Sheldon Cottrell, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Mathews to Fabian Allen, out Caught by Kusal Mendis!! Matter of a couple of yards. The whole match will probably come down to these couple of yards. Allen swings his bat in frustration at having failed to get this slog a couple of yards further, meaning he's caught out at deep midwicket. The triumphant Mathews raises his arms. Sri Lanka are almost home. Fabian Allen c Kusal Mendis b Mathews 37(15) [4s-2 6s-3]
Mathews to Fabian Allen, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Mathews to Fabian Allen, FOUR, sits in the crease, waits on this slower ball and slaps it through extra cover. He's nailed everything since he's come out, and this is no different. Mathews provided width and Allen lapped it all up as he freed his arms. What a blinder this is
So yeah, Allen vs Mathews it'll be as predicted. 13 to get off the final over.

Perera to Alzarri Joseph, no run, has a big swing at the full toss but drags it only as far as deep square leg. They won't take the single. Allen will have the strike for the final over
Perera to Fabian Allen, 1 run, full toss on middle, Allen flicks it to deep midwicket
