Most people leave the Middle East with dates and cheap gadgets, West Indies leave from here with fruits for the future. What a successful tour this has been, a clean sweep to start off the Sammy-Shai Hope era. They were without their regulars like Pooran and Holder, and this game missed Shai Hope and Brandon King, but found two talented youngsters in Alick Athanaze and Kevin Sinclair. Along with handy contributions from Keacy Carty, Yannic Cariah and Keemo Paul through the series. Looking good for the Windies going into the World Cup qualifiers. UAE will meet them there, and they’d hope to fare better in Zimbabwe. We’ll continue to bring the action from those qualifiers, but for now this is goodbye and goodnight…

Our Fantasy Handbook experts made some bold calls today, picking debutant Alick Athanaze, rookie spinner Kevin Sinclair and UAE keeper Vriitiya Aravind in the Expert XI. If you stuck to their advice, you could have fared well in Fantasy Cricket. Subscribe to Cricbuzz Plus to get access to Fantasy Handbook…

Shai Hope collects the trophy and hoists it high, the rest of the teammates join in. A somersault from Kevin Sinclair in celebration as a few champagne bottles pop open. A good start to this new white ball era for the West Indies, over to the World Cup qualifiers now for them...

Brandon King | Player of the Series: It was good to get that century, but it is all part of the process. I have been going through my game, and the team has trusted me to play my shots. It was looking good for another hundred, but didn't come off. (On UAE) They provided a good challenge, this is their home so they know how to bowl on the pitch better than us. Always enjoy coming here, enjoy playing in the UAE.

Kevin Sinclair | Player of the Match: It was my dream to play for WI. Getting a chance here and getting 4 wickets will be a special, cherished moment. Something I will always remember. My first game here, happy with my performance. It was about hitting the right areas. Two days ago it was my grandfather's 75th birthday, this performance is for him. He has always been supporting him. The support staff have always been there for me, they know my talent and capabilities. I've come here from Zimbabwe, switching from the red ball to the white ball. But happy with the way I have adjusted.

Roston Chase | WI Captain: We lost some wickets in the end, so I wanted to be there till the end. He has been in some ripping form, he has the confidence and backing [on Athanaze]. Just went there and expressed himself. Not too much feedback on the reverse sweep, he plays that well and he has our backing. It was about rotating strike, we can however improve on the number of dot balls. I had three games, I feel I've bowled well despite not getting the wickets. But I feel the balls were going in the right areas. Credit to Kevin Sinclair, his first game here and he adjusted so quickly. Well bowled to him.

M Waseem | UAE Captain: There was a chance today even after I got out. We collapsed in the middle overs. The run-outs were bad, you would have seen my reaction on camera. But we are working hard. Aayan is very talented, and so is Karthik. A few player's talents are coming to the forefront, not everyone but a few. We are practising well, hopefully this preparation will help us in Zimbabwe. Thanks to the crowds, keep supporting us. Sorry we couldn't get the result.

21:58 Local Time, 17:58 GMT, 23:28 IST: Game, set, match!! A game that went on for much longer than most would have expected though. West Indies lost Charles early in this meagre chase, but they got off to a flier thanks to debutant Alick Athanaze. He looked confident and played some big shots, getting to a fifty as the visitors were scoring at almost 10 an over. The southpaw however had a rush of blood trying to reverse sweep Aayan Khan, and that wicket slowed down things. Shamarh Brooks and Keacy Carty played slowly, but both looked good for fifties. However, they threw away good starts and West Indies were in a spot of bother at one point as Meiyappan got two wickets in two balls. However, stand-in skipper Roston Chase calmed things down and ensured he stayed till the end to get his side over the line. Earlier in the day, UAE threw away a good start to go from 142/2 to 184 all out. Kevin Sinclair the pick of the bowlers for the visitors, while Yannic Cariah ended with a couple of wickets as well. Stay tuned for the presentations...

Jawadullah to R Reifer, out Caught by DSouza!! Reifer was lucky a couple of balls ago to be given not out on the LBW, but no saving grace this time. This was short pitched and the batter couldn't hold back from the glory shot. Pulls it in the air and holes out to deep square leg. We'll have the wait a bit longer for a conclusion, UAE on the other hand have just a glimmer of hope here... R Reifer c DSouza b Jawadullah 15(30)

Jawadullah to R Reifer, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
