A convicing start to their World Cup preparations and West Indies will be further buoyed by the arrival of a couple of more WC-bound players before the next game. They play Bangladesh on Wednesday and that should be a mouth-watering encounter. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..

Jason Holder - Good day at the office, Shai and John led the way. Shannon has pace and aggression, we are looking to use him as a strike bowler. We have more quality in Roach and Sheldon, it's encouraging for the team - for the reserve players to do so well, like John and Dowrich, if they perform, can put pressure on the main guys.

William Porterfield - Credit goes to those two lads, the big partnership, thought we started well, but once the partnership got going, they started scoring quickly. We can't expect them to bowl like that (against England) everyday, but this is a good learning environment, it's nice to see them been put under the sword and it will be up to them to come back. We need to play with freedom, few more games coming up and we would like to put our best

Campbell (MoM) - Really happy, this is my best performance. I'm just looking at opportunities to put big scores on the board.

A comfortable win in the end for the visitors. A win for Ireland was never on the cards after they were set to chase 382. Paul Stirling fell first ball, Porterfield didn't last long and neither did Tucker. Balbirnie fought hard despite copping a blow on his head, Kevin O'Brien was the best on show and his 68 gave his team some respectability. After a fine show agianst England, the hosts have been brought back to ground. They have a lot of work to do, particularly with their bowling - which has been largely inconsistent at times. Three more matches remaining in this tournament, enough time one would think for them to iron out their deficiencies.

Nurse to Joshua Little, out Bowled!! West Indies win by 196 runs. Four wicket for Nurse, threw this one invitingly as Little went right across his stumps on the sweep - he missed and the ball rattled into the middle-stump. Joshua Little b Nurse 0(2)

Nurse to Joshua Little, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

34.3

Nurse to Joshua Little, no run, Little has smashed Murtagh's elbow - he's in shock as he drops his bat and moves away - came down the track did Little and drilled it back at his partner - too fast for Murtagh to be moving away from the firing line

Joshua Little, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Nurse to McCarthy, out Stumped!! That's the end of McCarthy - came down the track, Nurse cleverly dragged his length back on this off-break - went straight on and McCarthy was playing for the turn, beaten on the inside edge and Shai Hope has an easy job to do - whips the bails with elan and Ireland have lost their ninth wicket. McCarthy st Shai Hope b Nurse 9(15) [4s-1]

Nurse to McCarthy, THATS OUT!! Stumped!!
