The winners' trophy has been handed to Shakib and the WINNER(s?) banner is brought across in front of Shakib as the team assembles around him for the winners' photograph. A historic win for them. A towering Courtney Walsh at the back dwarves everyone - quite like a Brobdingnagian in Lilliput - as the entire contingent looks extremely content with their performance. Not exactly a stepping stone for them, but a continuing upward graph. We'll be calling it an early day too as I, Rishi, sign off on behalf of Raju, Sulthan, Nikhil and our meta-commentator Sagar. That's it from our side, as we call it a day in this Test series. *Curtains Down*

Shakib Al Hasan, winning captain, Player of the Series: Me and the coaching staff asked exactly this of the team and this was our plan. We did the process right and we did well in every department. Overall a very good team effort. We saved runs in the field, that put a lot of pressure. And every time the batsmen got in, they made it count. All four spinners were great, especially Miraz, the way he bowled today was fantastic. Nayeem bowled really well in both Tests, even though the wickets column doesn't show it. Shadman showed good temperament and showed that he can do well in the international arena. I can't ask more off the team. I was demanding in the two Tests, and everyone stepped up. The individuals know that they can improve themselves and we have some tough challenges coming up so hopefully we can live up to it. In the first Test I was rusty - only trained for 2-3 sessions, and in the second Test I was much more comfortable. I'm sure I'll be at my best in the ODI series.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Player of the Match (12/117): After a long time I got the award, and I'm really happy. My teammates have been really supportive. Our bowlers did really well - especially Taijul and Shakib. Nayeem supported really well to. At the end of the day we did very well and we have been successful. I love batting too, and our batsmen set the tone with a 500+ score, so that made the job easier for the bowlers.

Kraigg Brathwaite, Windies captain: Our bowlers were good. Shannon Gabriel was good, and Dowrich and Hetmyer played good innings. But as batsmen we didn't do our jobs. We didn't get a partnership and we let ourselves down on the field. It's important to stay positive. Test cricket is meant to be tough. We have some first-class games after we go back, and we should be ready before England come over. It's key to be positive, and hopefully we will do better in the white-ball series.

Bangladesh, well, they've really evolved over the years as a unit. Particularly as a bowling unit - so much so that they've had the audacity to drop Mustafizur for an all-spin bowling attack. And boy, did that work out for them? Most certainly did. Bangladesh picked up wickets with the new ball and old, and just flattened Windies. That, after a fantastic first-innings effort, in which Mahmudullah top-scored with 136, and Shadman and Shakib scored supporting fifties to lift them over 500. Time for Bangladesh to bask in the glory of their clinical victory. Presentations coming up in a bit...

14:38 Local Time, 14:08 IST: The Bangla Tigers have devoured their prey twice and look jubilant! Fantastic scenes here in Dhaka! Nikhil Jadhav, my colleague, is giving me a live audiofeed of my own words, and it - sounds - dramatic! #NarcissistMuch? 12 wickets for Mehidy Hasan in the match, and honestly, I have nothing to say about the Windies batting. Nothing. Shimron Hetmyer's pyrotechnics aside, the Windies were absolutely appalling with the bat, and perhaps that shields their spinners' performance in the first innings, which was below average to be very honest. So essentially, no comments about the Windies. They've been steamrolled.

T Islam to Shermon Lewis, out Lbw!! Review: Given out by the umpire. Pitching on middle, straightening, impact in line. Hitting middle and leg, and it's out! Bangladesh win the Test match - their first innings-victory in their Test history. The ball - was tossed up towards leg-stump, straightened a little bit from the angle and Shermon Lewis, who was trying to flick it, misses the ball and it thuds into his pads to seal the Windies' fate.
