Zimbabwe's first bilateral ODI in Australia ended in a defeat, but they were certainly not disgraced. That late batting collapse possibly cost them today's game, but they'll look to do better on Wednesday. They'll also hope for Williams and Muzarabani to be back, which will add some steel to this line-up. For Australia, it'll be another opportunity to test their preparedness ahead of tougher contests. Join us on 31st for the second ODI from the same venue. For now, cheers and bye..

Cameron Green | Player of the Match - Finchy summarised well, we got a bit of footage to watch, the last couple of days we have trained quite hard. I realised that the wicket was a bit up and down, nipping around a length, so the plan was simple, bowl within the stumps. It was just me and Marnus who trained yesterday, missed out on the golf, but looking to join the rest of the boys.

Regis Chakabva | Losing captain - I thought the wicket was a bit tricky, the boys did well to soak up the pressure (with the bat), but in the end we didn't have runs on the board. We got a good start, didn't finish well, with the ball - we were a bit slow to start but the boys came back well. Need to put more runs on the board and take that step up. A bit of rest and we'll regroup once again on Tuesday, but we'll not make too many changes to the way we play.

Aaron Finch | Winning captain - The conditions were as expected, perhaps dried out a lot quicker than I expected. I thought Zimbabwe bowled really well. You watch a lot of footage of the opposition, see them doing their work during the practice sessions. The bowlers were spot-on and executed the plans well. The ball was seaming early on, there was a nice bit of breeze for the right-arm pacers, and Cameron Green used it as he followed Josh Hazlewood. (Playing his 100th ODI) Mitchell Starc is one of the best, if not the best (in white-ball cricket), his contribution to a couple of World Cup wins has been exceptional. He has a bit of a tough start, hasn't got the wickets, but I felt he did really well.

16:24 Local Time, 06:24 GMT, 11:54 IST: A comfortable win for the hosts, although they did lose a few wickets in a cluster. Finch fell early, but Warner rode his luck and Smith anchored, adding 65 runs for the second wicket. Spin brought Zimbabwe back into the game briefly - Raza and Burl were expensive, but they also got wickets. But it was as good as they got as a super aggressive Maxwell finished off the chase with a flurry of boundaries. A 5-wicket win and Australia go 1-0 up in the 3-match series. No Sean Williams, no Blessing Muzarabani and Zimbabwe still put up a creditable show. You'd think they'll be better once those two come back into the playing XI. Presentations coming up shortly..

Ryan Burl to Maxwell, FOUR, Maxwell is putting on a show here, it's a full-toss alright, but Maxwell had already pre-determined the reverse sweep, went off the back of the bat and raced past the lone slip, 17 from the over
