And that, boys and girls, is a wrap of the second game. We have the third and final ODI coming up in three days' time. Same place, same time. Can Zimbabwe clinch a consolation win or will the Aussies continue to bully? Join us on Saturday to find out. Until then, cheers and goodbye from all of us down here!!
Mitchell Starc | Player of the Match:: The wicket had a nice covering of grass and we were a fraction short in the powerplay. so Josh and I decided to bowl it a fraction fuller and it worked out really well. He applied himself straightaway, and that's the Steve we have seen over the ten plus years.
Regis Chakabva: I thought they bowled really well, used the wicket well. We didn't get the starts we wanted, obviously disappointing. We always want to play against the best, we are always looking for this kind of test. The first game went okay, lot of learnings to take and looking forward to the next one. The bowlers came out fighting hard and that's a massive positive for us.
Aaron Finch: I thought it was clinical by the bowlers. The tone set by Starc and Hazlewood, then Starc, Green and Zampa - couldn't have asked for anything better today. We have to be flexible and we have to have different plans depending on the conditions. Think it's an exciting prospect, we got the depth and resources and it's really exciting times. You just want to keep playing good cricket and just taking that momentum and win as many games.
13:33 Local Time, 03:33 GMT, 09:03 IST: The game was done and dusted in the first innings, the second was a mere formality. Both Warner and Finch fell cheaply inside 3 overs, but Smith was in no mood to hold back today. Played his shots with a touch of fearless approach and flair. All Carey needed to do was just hang around to avoid any last-minute-rush-hush in the dressing room and he did a little more than that, surviving a couple of close ones and being there at the end to knock off the easiest of targets. Opting to bowl, Australia used the swing and extra bounce on offer to trouble the batters and the lack of clarity in approach through middle yet again cost Zimbabwe. Stick around for the presentations...
Williams to Smith, byes, FOUR, Smith looks to be cheeky - tries to play the switch hit but the ball arrives much earlier than anticipated and races away past the keeper to his left. With the shuffly movements around the crease, Chakabva was blinded behind the crease and had no chance of making any contact on that. A thumping 8-wicket win for Australia as they seal the series 2-0 with a game to go.
Williams to Carey, no ball, 3 runs, Williams oversteps and dishes it full outside off, Carey plays the reverse and gets it over backward point, good enough to squeeze three as the ball loses pace in the outfield...
Williams to Smith, 1 run, slides in from a length, tucked away to deep square
Williams to Carey, 2 wides, short and slipping down the leg-side, a fumble by the keeper allows an extra run
Williams to Smith, 1 run, flat outside off, punched down to long-on
Williams to Carey, 1 run, short and sliding down the leg-side, Carey helps the pull to short fine's left for a quick single
Australia just 2 hits away...

Jongwe to Smith, FOUR, full on the stumps, Smith clubs it straight back over the bowler's head and earns a boundary despite the lack of timing. Skewed it off the thick inside half...
Jongwe to Smith, wide, advances and withdraws his shot at the last moment, it was dug in way too short and flies well over the half-ducking batter. Called wide for height...
