Questions will be raised about the Bangladesh Test side. They have not won a game in their last 8 matches out of which 4 have been played at home. How dependable are they on Tamim and Shakib? Is the bench strength not good enough? Is Rahim batting too far down? They need to address these quickly to save the series. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe can bask in the glory of this victory - first one away from home since 2001 - before returning on Sunday (November 11) for the second Test. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. There's plenty of action going on and you can switch tabs to catch Sri Lanka-England in action. For now, goodbye and take care!

Sean Williams, Man of the Match: I'm actually ecstatic, didn't really expect to get the Man of the Match at the beginning of this game. Gonna enjoy this in the change room afterwards. It was really difficult. It took me a long time to get in on this wicket and going back to the One-Dayers, I realized that was the case. So, I brought it forward to the Test matches and luckily, it worked out for me. Unfortunately, I didn't get the 12 runs I needed to get to my 100 but it's definitely going to be part of my plans for the next game. I think our young bowlers especially Mavuta bowled really well. Unfortunately, he didn't get his five wickets and also our seamers on a spin friendly wicket bowled really well to set the game for us. Unfortunately, we couldn't bat as long as we would have liked in the second innings and we need to fix those small things and hopefully, make a difference in the next Test.

Hamilton Masakadza, winning captain: I'm ecstatic. I thought the guys went out and worked really hard to apply themselves. Especially in the first innings, the lead we got in the first innings was really crucial. I'm proud of the boys. The batters applied themselves well, especially in the first innings. Guys took their time and did well to accumulate runs and that's something that went missing in the ODIs. All in all, I think our batters set it up nicely in the first innings. The bowlers have been brilliant since we landed in Bangladesh, I don't think they did too much wrong. That's really encouraging to see and I think we executed our spinners well. Our boys got more spin off the wicket and it's not often you say that in Bangladesh and that is a big plus for us.

Mahmudullah, losing captain: We didn't do well with the bat. We lost the toss and didn't do well in the first innings. I think the wicket was good, but we didn't apply ourselves with the bat. We were not disciplined enough to restrict our strokes. We didn't read the pitch well and that shouldn't happen. We will try and comeback strong in the next game. I think the bowling was excellent. Taijul was superb. It is disappointing that he ended up on the losing side. Most of our bowlers bowled well actually. I think Ariful has been batting really well, he has got a lot of runs in domestic cricket and we are hoping to put a better performance as a unit in the next game.

Bangladesh started the day steadily with the openers Liton Das and Imrul Kayes adding a 56-run opening stand. But as it is on these sub-continent pitches, one wicket opens a floodgates for plenty more and the home side could not arrest the slide as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. All hopes were pinned on Rahim at the start of the post-lunch session, but when he was dismissed by Mavuta it was only a matter of time. Ariful Haque, like he did in the first innings, fought a lone battle and was the last batsman to be out.

Not many would have given Zimbabwe a chance coming into this Test, especially after being blanked 3-0 in the ODI series, but they have proved they can do more than compete in such conditions, conditions which teams like England and Australia found difficult. A truly all-round performance from them. The batsmen put their hand up and gave them a good first innings total, the bowlers then responded by bowling Bangladesh out cheaply. Though their batting in the second essay was not up to scratch, the big lead allowed them to set a target of 320. Mavuta, Raza and Wellington Masakadza shared nine wickets to give Zimbabwe a Test win after a long time.

13:46 local: The keeper, after claiming the catch, wastes no-time in rushing towards the stumps and he plucks one out before a swarm of players surround him to celebrate what has been an absolute bonzer of a performance. Raza, the cheeky lad that he is, cleverly sprints to the other end and unearths a couple of stumps. The rest join him. Hugs, smiles and all sorts of exuberant scenes here in Sylhet. My colleague Akshay has summed up the Test match wonderfully well. Do read through before we get to the presentations.

W Masakadza to A Haque, out Caught by Chakabva!! First Test win for Zimbabwe in 5 years. Their third Test win away from home. What scenes. Who needs a review, eh? Ariful goes on one knee, looks to mow this over mid-wicket and mistimes it horribly into the air. It hung in the air for a long, long time and keeper Chakbva calls for it wisely. He storms forward towards the bowler's end and gathers it cleanly before tumbling forward. A Haque c Chakabva b W Masakadza 38(37) [4s-4 6s-2]

Brandon Mavuta to Abu Jayed, no run, googly around off and middle, Abu Jayed got a big stride forward and missed the defnce. It pins him around the knee roll and looked a bit high to the naked eye. After a thorough contemplation, Masakadza went up for the review

Zimbabwe review for lbw: Abu Jayed given not out onfield. Fair delivery . Looks no bat. Umpire's call reckons my colleague Akshay. Nothing on the UltraEdge and ball-tracking shows wickets missing. Over the leg stump. No more reviews left for Zimbabwe, but don't thik they could need one
