It was a very professional performance from Bangladesh as they recorded their biggest win in terms of runs. They will look to carry this momentum in the remaining games of the series. Zimbabwe missed some of their key players and would want them back as soon as possible. The second ODI is on Tuesday (March 3) and gives them a chance to level the series. Do join us for that encounter. Until next time, goodbye and take care..

Liton Das | Man of the Match: I am feeling good. It was a good batting track and I am enjoying my batting. Shanto, Rahim and Tamim played well and I had good partnerships with them. I focus on my fielding whenever I am not batting or keeping.

Mashrafe Mortaza | Bangladesh captain: It has been an outstanding game. The last 3-4 matches didn't go well but today we started well through Liton. He batted so well and the others too, Mithun gave a good finish to the innings. Saifuddin came back from injury and I played after few months, it does not matter if we scored 322, we still had to bowl well. All three departments did well and we are working hard on the fielding. It will help us in the bigger matches.

Chamu Chibhabha | Zimbabwe captain: I thought they batted well and had a guy who batted through. They had partnerships throughout the game which is the key. It was good to watch him (Wesley Madhevere) spend some time in the crease. It is a nice venue for us and we have good memories here, hopefully we can turn things around in the next game. I am sure Sean Williams is available for the next game but not so sure about Craig Ervine.

20:12 Local Time, 14:12 GMT, 19:42 IST: Zimbabwe's chase never got going. The openers were tied down by some disciplined bowling and when they tried to attack, Saifuddin didn't give them anything. They were reduced to 23 for 3 and things only got worse as Brendan Taylor missed a sweep off Taijul. Wesley Madhevere, the debutant, kept one end busy even as the more experienced batsmen kept departing at the other end and when he departed in the 24th over the end was near. Saifuddin was the pick of the bowlers and was well backed up by the spin twins - Taijul and Mehidy.
