That concludes proceedings from the second ODI. The third and final ODI is on Sunday. Same time, same place. Do remember to join us for that. Until then, good night and goodbye!!

18:37 local: Penultimate over finish last game and a last-ball thriller today. Zimbabwe, unfortunately, have been at the receiving end on both occasions. To be fair, both teams had their moments and at one stage Zimbabwe seemed to have the chase under control with a 69-partnership for the eighth wicket, but the reintroduction of today's best bowler on the park - Tim Murtagh - helped Ireland swing the game in their favour as the 37-year old bowled a decisive 49th over cleaning up one of the set batsman (Tiripano) whilst conceding a mere single in the over. With 15 needing from the final 2 overs, Zimbabwe could have knocked singles and targeted the final over. Unfortunately, they didn't and panicked during pressure moments to hand Ireland a series win. All-rounder Ryan Burl gave his all to take his side as close as he can, but with little or no assistance at the other end, his maiden ODI fifty proved to be in vain. Not to forget Murtagh's opening burst where he removed three of Zimbabwe's top four inside five overs.

Mark Adair to Chatara, 1 run, a low full toss has been hammered to wide long-off and that's it. Ireland seal the series 2-0 with a game to go

Tendai Chatara, right handed bat, comes to the crease

A six needed off the final ball. Can they?

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, out Ryan Burl Run Out!! 1 run completed. That should be it. A low full toss and Burl heaves it straight to deep mid-wicket, he tries to take on the fielder's arm and puts in a desperate dive in the end, the throw throw was rapid and adjacent to the stumps. Tucker does the rest and Ireland are over the moon here. Ryan Burl run out (Getkate/Lorcan Tucker) 53(79) [4s-3]

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!

49.4

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, no run, full and pins it right in the blockhole around the toes, Ryan Burl swings and misses

49.3

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, FOUR, on the pads again and that's whipped away wide of the man at deep square. A maiden ODI fifty for Ryan Burl, he is not giving this up anytime soon

49.2

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, 2 runs, full and in the slot for Ryan Burl, he clears his front leg and swats it towards deep mid-wicket where McBrine fumbles and allows the second

49.1

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, no run, spears it full on the pads, Burl flicks hard but can't get it past backward square, he denies the single too

Mark Adair [9.0-0-44-0] is back into the attack

That over from Murtagh might have just sealed the game for Ireland. Might. Still 14 to get and Ryan Burl will be on strike. Adair to bowl...

Murtagh to Jarvis, no run, big booming swing from Jarvis and he could only manage a thick inside edge onto pad. Just one run and a wicket from Murtagh in his final over.

Kyle Jarvis, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Murtagh to Tiripano, out Bowled!! Is that the game for Ireland? Could be. Bowls a nip-backer and Tiripano can't connect with his heave-ho, the stumps are in a mess and that is a maiden fifer for Tim Murtagh! Can't get better than this for the 37-year old. Tiripano b Murtagh 33(44) [4s-3]

Murtagh to Tiripano, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

Lot of discussion between Porterfield and the bowler. Fine leg is up inside the ring

48.4

Murtagh to Tiripano, no run, skates out of his crease and has a big woosh outside off, the ball darts back in and flies over the stumps

48.3

Murtagh to Ryan Burl, 1 run, skiddy length ball outside off, Burl gets across and tucks it away on the leg-side behind square
