So 2-1 then. And Ireland would in fact be pretty proud with what they've produced today. It was as close to perfect as it could be. Okay, that's all we have for you for tonight, and until we see you tomorrow with the series on the line, ta ta!!

Andrew Balbirnie | Winning skipper: The wicket played different to what we thought. It was nice to watch Stirling play like that at the top. Everyone did their roles really well. It was an exceptional knock, he has carried his form from The Hundred. He deserves that hundred. Even Shane coming in at four was great for us. We are lucky we have four fast bowlers with us at the moment and we need to look after them. Really happy for Mark to come back from a back spasm. We want to win the series. We were desperately upset with what we did in the first match. We need to show up with a similar attitude and mindset.

Craig Ervine | Losing skipper: I thought we restricted them well in the first 10-11 overs, but Stirling set it up well in the last overs. Wickets restricts the guys, but we didn't get wickets up front. It was difficult to contain and our guys missed the mark. Stirling is one of the guys who if you don't get cheaply, it can be difficult, and it was for us. We have to find a way to get through the first six overs with the bat, and we need to try and iron that out. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Paul Striling | MoM: Managed to get through the new ball having lost the toss. It was a big toss. It's not something I overly think about (getting the hundred). I was thinking about getting a par score for the team. 150-160 would have been fine, but we were delighted to get another 20 runs in the bank. I should have probably hit that century ball for a six. The individual accolade is immaterial to me. To win these games after losing the toss shows a lot about our team. It was one of our worst powerplays in terms of run-rates and to come from there to win says a lot about us. Kevin O'Brien needs to be backed. He's one of the best in the country. Can't imagine anyone better than him for the World Cup.

18:08 Local Time: Quite the comprehensive performance this. A 179-run chase was never going to be easy even with these small boundaries, and none of the Zimbabwean batsmen getting any sort of momentum didn't help their cause either. Adair, Getkate, White and Little stuck to their accurate lines, taking pace off the ball and hardly gave anything away. Although most wickets were to pretty poor shot selections. And from 56/4 in the eighth over, it was always going to be a mountain too big for them to climb. Although Craig Ervine tried, it was all too little, all too alone. But all said and done, it was the first innings that firmly put this one into Ireland's pocket. Paul Stirling and his well-paced century, where he took his time to settle in before cutting loose, was the clear difference. Stick around, the presentations should be up soon ..

Joshua Little to Chatara, out Ngarava Run Out!! That'll do. Little keeps it plain and simple with a yorker, but no, it's not the yorker that's done it, for Chatara's managed to squeeze it to short mid-wicket. Ngarava, meanwhile, has run well down the pitch, only to have to return, and only to watch Getkate nail an under-armed direct hit. Ngarava run out (Getkate) 1(1)

Joshua Little to Chatara, THATS OUT!! Run Out!!

Joshua Little to Chatara, no run, beats the poke, staying outside the line of Chatara's attempt

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, out Caught by Simi Singh!! It's the off-paced bouncer, angling down leg. Burl, well, had no choice but to keep going hard, and thus, he tries with his pull, but just doesn't get hold of it, and finds fine leg by the boundary. And so, Ireland's last tiny hope goes down the drain. Ryan Burl c Simi Singh b Mark Adair 26(23) [4s-2 6s-1]

Mark Adair to Ryan Burl, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
