So everything in cricket these days is a build up to October, and Ireland have a few massive ticks on their checklist. They have the series, and mind you, it's against a side who've run Bangladesh and Pakistan real close. Okay, that ends our coverage, and until the day after with the final game, ta ta!!
Andrew Balbirnie | Winning skipper: Very happy. We wanted to back up what we did yesterday after we lost the toss on a similar wicket. We didn't get up to 180, but a pretty complete performance. We need to give guys roles before the World Cup. We are going to need six or seven matchwinners. Adair and Shane were brilliant. A lot of positives and we just want to keep getting better. We want a squad of 15 who can all play and win games on their day for Ireland. It's not easy picking an XI and the guys are aware of what we are doing. It was a great atmosphere here like yesterday. We have won the series, but with the ODIs, we want some momentum going into that.
Craig Ervine | Losing skipper: Quite disappointing. We just never got going in the chase and it is something we have an issue with. We need to sort it out going forward. That opening partnership put us on the back foot. A couple of wickets in the middle brought us back from what looked like 180-190. Masakadza has been excellent for us. Even in the past series he has come leaps and bounds. Unfortunately we missed Ryal Burl with the ankle injury just before the toss. We have been disappointing with the bat. Every game is important. The series is gone, but we need to find new combinations.
Mark Adair | MoM: It was nice to get wickets and make an impact. We have been good over the last four days. We looked at that first T20 and we sat down and needed to look at our plans better. The lads are coming in and performing at the right time. We enjoy playing cricket up here in the north-west. We had a good series against South Africa and we need to push ourselves further.
18:15 Local Time: So it was a forgone conclusion an hour ago, and we now have the same on paper. This chase just didn't get going, thanks to Young and Adair rocking Zimbabwe's top-order early and reducing them to 30/4 inside the powerplay. Of course, when you're chasing 175, the game is almost always lost after that. And the middle-order didn't wag either, with all of them swinging, missing, and sinking their side further. Had it not been for the Jongwe-Ngarva final-wicket stand, the extent of the defeat would've been a lot more embarrassing. Not that a 75-run thrashing isn't. Anyway, here come the presentations ..

Craig Young
4-0-23-1
Young to Ngarava, no run .. and seals the series with a slower one, sneaking comfortably under Ngarava and his sunken slog. 3-1 to Ireland
Young to Ngarava, FOUR, more fun runs. It's outside off now, and Ngarava throws his hands at it, cleanly in fact, drilling it over point
Young to Ngarava, FOUR, has a hack across the line, gets hold, and gets it into the deep mid-wicket fence.
Young to Jongwe, 1 run, swats hard, connects neatly too, but finds long-on on the bounce
Young to Ngarava, 1 run, swings, and drags this off the inside half to fine leg
Young to Ngarava, no run, clears his front leg and swipes across the line, misses, and Ireland are appealing for a tickle off the bat and a caught behind. Alas, not to be ..
Craig Young [3.0-0-13-1] is back into the attack

McCarthy to Ngarava, 1 run, proper heave this, but alas, it ends up in a miscued slice to long-off
McCarthy to Jongwe, 1 run, off-base yorker, jammed through sweeper
McCarthy to Jongwe, no run, shorter, something Jongwe stays leg-sided of and punches straight to point
McCarthy to Jongwe, 2 runs, slower full one, nudged through square leg
McCarthy to Jongwe, 2 runs, full, on middle, flicked round the corner
McCarthy to Jongwe, 2 runs, slow and short, Jongwe waits on it, rides it, and pulls behind square
