That ends the first game. We will be back tomorrow for the 2nd one. Same place, same ground, same time. Do join us then. Till then, take care and sleep well. Bye.

Gerhard Erasmus | Namibia captain: We laid a really good foundation and we landed the first punches and hopefully that's a good foundation for the rest of the series. We want to stay unbeatable and it's a great matchup and our bowlers got it in the right areas. We put the ball in the right areas and good striking from Niko. Lots of cricket to be played still and more chances for guys to go out there and chip in.

Craig Ervine | Zimbabwe captain: I thought they put the pressure on us nice and early and we did not deal with it. Credit to them. We have got to learn so quickly, looking at the wicket today, you got to build our innings and formulate another plan and come tomorrow.

Nikolaas Davin | Player of the Match: Definitely what I wanted that knock.

16:54 Local Time, 14:54 GMT, 20:24 IST: What a thrashing this has been for Zimbabwe. They have been thoroughly dominated and well beaten here in this first game. After restricting Zimbabwe to 121, Namibia have made light work of the chase. Davin the star as he belted the ball to all corners of the field in Windhoek. His 44-ball 80 at the top of the order means that the game has been done with 38 balls to spare. Zimbabwe were poor in the field as well, dropping a couple of catches. They were well off their game and Namibia capitalised to lead the series 1-0. Fine effort from the hosts who deservedly punished a lacklustre Zimbabwean side. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
