PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Babar Azam
Batter
Bowler
That's it from us. Zimbabwe didn't give their bowlers enough to put up a challenge today. We'll see if they can do that tomorrow with the teams playing on back-to-back days. Until then, it's goodbye.
Azam, Pakistan captain and Player of the Match: Very satisfying. Enjoy my batting and I play according to the situation. Executed our plans nicely with the ball. The wicket was a bit up and down and there was help for the bowlers. Focus is on our combination. Have looked to test our bench. Going into the World Cup, we want our 15 players to have game time and more experience. Need to work on our fielding. Have dropped catches too. Every match you need to work on different things. Every day you are faced with new challenges.
Chibhabha: Were about 20 runs short of the total we wanted. Middle-order batters have been doing well for us. Credit to Wesley - youngster in the team - took a huge responsibility. One aspect of the game we pride ourselves in - the fielding. We were slippery today. Wesley is pleasing to watch. Very impressive.
18:44 Local Time, 13:44 GMT, 19:14 IST: Hardly broke a sweat there, Pakistan. Babar Azam's innings of 82 from 55 balls saw to it that there was no drama to chase down a target that was below par on this pitch. While playing orthodox strokes, he still scored at a superb rate, before finally giving in to the temptation of a slog with the finish line approaching. The job was done by then. Zimbabwe do have positives to take, none bigger than Wesley Madhevere who continues to impress. Great potential there for the future. He didn't have much support though today. After his unbeaten 70 off 48 balls, the next highest score was 25. Pakistan's bowling played a big part in that too. Hasnain and Rauf were superb, while Usman Qadir made an impact on debut as well.
Muzarabani to Rizwan, leg byes, 1 run, Pakistan win off a leg bye. Zimbabwe go for a review, but this is easily missing leg stump. Good length coming in, Rizwan slogs but misses and it deflects past square leg off the pad. Confirmation from ball-tracking, and Pakistan go up 1-0

Ngarava to Khushdil, 1 run, pitched up at the stumps, Khushdil drives to the left of long-on
Ngarava to Khushdil, FOUR, meaty blow from Khushdil. Was in position much early for this short ball compared to the previous one. Weight transfer onto the back foot, pummels it in front of square

Ngarava to Khushdil, no run, short of length around off, pats it back
