Both teams gained decent perspective over this short tour. Scotland, much improved from their recent history of outings, have plenty of positives unearthed, especially in their top order. They've however lost a golden opportunity to create history by pulling a quick one against a Test playing nation. Nevertheless, it was fun bringing you this. Now go, prep yourself for the madness that is coming from London tomorrow. Ta ta!!
A walk in the park. Or so did Sikandar Raza make us believe. If things were dodgy for the Zimbabweans at the time of the break, with three wickets falling in quick time, Raza stood tall with a composed 58 to make sure that no further surprises were dealt out. 1-1 it is. But it was the first innings where Scotland would rue their missed chance - nine wickets crumbling for 63 runs. The bowlers did manage to stretch it a bit with some tight lines, but eventually there was only one way this game was headed.

Evans
6-1-33-0
Evans to Raza, FOUR, that's that. Stamps and seals it off in style. On top of a short ball in hammering it away with a cross batted mow. The mid-wicket bears the brunt
Evans to Ryan Burl, 1 run, the cross batted cut past point
Evans to Ryan Burl, no run, makes the bowler do a bit more of the fielding with Burl indulging in more of the knocking backs
Evans to Ryan Burl, 2 runs, a nurdle with a wrist roll to compound a couple
Evans to Ryan Burl, no run
Evans to Ryan Burl, no run, tapped back
Alasdair Evans [5.0-1-26-0] is back into the attack

Chris Sole
9-1-36-3
Chris Sole to Ryan Burl, no run, settles for a defence. 10 more to win
Chris Sole to Ryan Burl, no run, the short one. Too much so for Burl to involve himself
Chris Sole to Ryan Burl, 2 runs, now some penalty runs. All falling apart here. The flick gets a touch too fine to find the keeper's helmet in the way. Run two meanwhile as well. Seven off this ball
Chris Sole to Ryan Burl, FOUR, too wide. Free runs these. A slash in cutting it through point. Doing it quickly now
