South Africa won by 120 runs
PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Dale Steyn

You'd be graciously kind if you call these two surfaces the series has been played on only poor. But it's given us one of those rare moments where even the most gentle bowler has his tail up. Let's hope Saturday throws up something better, at least in terms of the level of contest. For now, on behalf of us - Vineet Anantharaman, Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Abhinand Raghavendran and Shashikant Singh, until next time, ta ta!!
JP Duminy | SA skipper: The pitch certainly wasn't ideal. From the position we were in to get to 198 was superb. The plan Dale came out with while facing bowlers was exceptional. If you look at the surfaces we have had in the two games, it is tough for the guys to claim their positions in the side. But we still have a match to go and it is a chance to represent your country so hopefully the guys would step up. The bowling has been superb - Dale coming into his own, Tahir coming into his best. Again we are hoping that the wicket in Paarl would be one where runs would be scored and hopefully the guys playing would take it with both hands.
Dale Steyn | Man of the Match: I don't know what to say (laughs on getting the MoM for his batting). The wicket was quite tough and myself and Andile built up a good partnership. In the County season you are always batting, but the good thing is that I am playing a lot of cricket these days. My last game was two weeks ago and I feel cricket fit. While bowling I couldn't feel my fingers, they were freezing! I was looking to hit the deck hard and the Zimbabweans found it tough. Our batters found it tough too and they bowled really well at the start. I hope it gets better at Paarl.
Hamilton Masakadza | Zim skipper: I am really gutted. From a perfect position it is really disappointing to see the way the game went. The guys bowled really well up front but we just couldn't close it off. We definitely need more application from the boys; we lost two wickets and then consolidated but it is disappointing that we lost so many wickets to the spinner and not the seamers. We just needed a couple of partnerships to take us through but we couldn't get that.
Stay tuned, the presentations are lined up.
At 101/7, South Africa wouldn't have thought that they would win by 120 runs. Steyn rescued them with the bat and he started the rot with the ball. On a pitch which showed indifferent and menacing bounce, sometimes dangerously high and sometimes shockingly low, he got past Mire with the latter and had Craig Ervine in all kinds of trouble, before dismissing him - courtesy a blinder of a catch by Phehlukwayo at mid-wicket. Hamilton Masakadza fought bravely and so did Brendan Taylor - but once those two fell, the floodgates opened. Imran Tahir's wrong 'uns were too good for the middle and lower middle-order and the leg-spinner finished with six cheap wickets, including a hat-trick. A mauling for the visitors and South Africa have gained an unassailable 2-0 series lead, with one game to play.

Tahir to Chatara, out Caught by Steyn!! That's that and Zimbabwe have been blown away for just 78. A soft dismissal to end proceedings in Bloemfontein. Tahir finishes with six wickets, this was dragged short by Tahir, Chatara rocked back on the pull and played it pretty well, there was just one man in the deep at mid-wicket, it was Steyn and he didn't have to move. Straight into his bucket like hands and he doesn't drop those. Chatara c Steyn b Tahir 3(11)
