Zimbabwe should keep their heads high despite the loss as they head home. This game might not have gone their way, but they made life really difficult for the hosts and it's commendable if they are doing that for successive series on Sri Lankan soil. 70 all-out today isn't a clear reflection of how well they have batted and bowled in this series. The pitches clearly turned slower as the series progressed and tested both teams. Sri Lanka now embark on a tough tour to Australia to take on the World Champions for five T20Is. Sure they will be keen to sort of some team combination for the World Cup Down Under later this year. For now we bid goodbye! Lots of cricket around. See you soon.

Shanaka collects the trophy and the team is now standing behind a champions board, posing with the trophy. Sri Lanka all smiles out there.

Dasun Shanaka | Sri Lanka captain: We played really good cricket throughout. Toss played a crucial part in the series, played a huge role. It was more on the slower side, we spoke about 270 being ideal. We were 20 runs short by we knew our spinners will come to play. I came after returning Covid positive, Chameera too. So I trained for this series and wanted to do well. Pleased to get the hundred. Around eight players not there for this series but we still won the series. I should thank the crowd for coming out in numbers and supporting us.

Craig Ervine | Zimbabwe captain: We have putting in some really good performances but extremely disappointed to end the tour this way. The wicket was fairly dry and it was only going to get slower. We were blown away in the first ten overs. Our opening partnership is a huge plus. We were struggling in that aspect. Kaitano is a great find and I am sure he is going to be up there for a while.

Pethum Nissanka | Player of the Series: Great feeling. Enjoying batting at the top. Was a middle order player, but I am enjoying this role - translated by Roshan Abeysinghe.

Charith Asalanka | Player of the Match: Good innings, happy to be on the winning side. The pitch is not a really good one to bat. I am really enjoying my games. Just looking to improve and win games for my country.

20:38 Local Time, 15:08 GMT, 20:38 IST: What a dominant show from Sri Lanka. Zimbabwe outclassed them in the second game and the pressure was immense on Shanaka and Co. to stop Zimbabwe from winning back-to-back ODI series wins on Sri Lankan soil. They scratched around to post a decent score on the board and had to come out and bowl really well with the form the vistors showed with the bat in the top and middler order and boy, Chameera was on fire with his double-wicket maiden getting Chakabva and captain Ervine off successive balls. Sri Lanka had spin from one with with the new ball and Theekshana got one through Williams's gate. Kaitano looked pretty good but Kusal Mendis effected a brilliant stumping and then Raza threw it away. Shumba too spent some time before hitting straight to hand. The lower-order tried to hang around but just hanging around wasn't going to work with the target being 255. Vandersay finished with four, Ramesh Mendis chipping in with two wickets. So a very, very satisfying win for Sri Lanka by 184 runs. Just two double digits on the board for Zimbabwe.

Vandersay to Ryan Burl, out Lbw!! Ryan Burl almost didn't want to review this. He knew he was in front. Smashing the middle of middle stump says ball-tracker. Just a quicker delivery on the stumps, Burl went back and missed the flick, impact on middle stump and Prageeth Rambukwella had no hesitation. Zimbabwe keen to board the late flight tonight! Ryan Burl lbw b Vandersay 15(46) [4s-1]

Vandersay to Ryan Burl, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!

LBW given and reviewed. Burl knows he is a goner. P. L. U. M. B!
