That is all we have from the ODI series. Rain was a constant part in all three games, but consistency is something Zimbabwe would hope for as they get ready for a 3-match T20I series starting this Sunday. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, would welcome some of their key players as Hasaranga takes charge as the skipper. Should prove to be a cracker that one. Do remember to tune in for all those games. Until next time, cheers and goodbye!!

ICYMI: We had a field day at the Fantasy! Anyone who would have entered our team would have had a ball and would have certainly won prizes. Did you check out our #FantasyHandbook guide yet?

Kusal Mendis interview was completely carried out in Sinhalese and hence we couldn't transcribe it for you. Apologies!!

Craig Ervine | Zimbabwean skipper: We showed a lot of fight. We had a decent start before the rain break. Wanindu spell was special. The bowlers did well. During the day, the conditions were a little easier to bat on. The ball nips around in the evening. Our options against spin is very limited. Hopefully, we can work on that leading into the T20s and score a little freely.

Janith Liyanage | Player of the Series: Feel really pleased. I have been doing well in the domestic season so the thought process was to trust myself and play my natural game. I don't mind playing anywhere in the team as long as I do well and whatever the team requires of me. Zimbabwe played really good cricket and they gave a good fight. It was a good experience for me.

Wanindu Hasaranga | Player of the Match: I came back after 4 and half months and I want to thank everyone who supported me during that period. I last played LPL and after that I haven't played cricket. I worked really hard to make a comeback, I played 2 domestic games before this game and I am really happy with my performance. We have a very balanced (T20I) side and we know the opposition well and we will try to do our basics right as a team.

22:18 local, 16:48 GMT, 22:18 IST: A target of 97 was never going to challenge Sri Lanka. Though Avishka Fernando departed for a duck in the first over, Kusal Mendis was in no mood to play the respect-and-react game. He had his intentions clear right from the onset and notched up his first fifty as a captain in the process. Daniel played a scratchy knock on debut and all Samarawickrama needed to do was just put up the finishing touches alongside his skipper. To summarize this game in one sentence: Hasaranga humbles Zimbabwe with career-best show. Stick around for the post-match reactions...
