West Indies took the ODI series 3-0. Afghanistan came from 1-0 down to clinch the T20I series 2-1. Now we shift to the longest format of the game. The Rashid Khan-led side recently beat Bangladesh in their own den and with conditions familiar to them, they will start as favorites. The only Test between these two sides starts in ten days. We'll be here with all the action. Time to pull the plug for today. Until next time, goodbye and take care..

Rashid Khan | Afghanistan captain: After having a bad ODI series it was nice to win the T20 series. Our strength is bowling, we have a world-class bowling line-up and that's why we decided to bat first even if there was dew later on. We had to make 150+ and once we have that total we have the bowling to defend that. As a professional player you have to be smart and calm and it comes with experience. Yes, we lost the ODI series but we had the chance to win the T20 and Test series and that is what our aim was and to give our 100 percent. It is always great to have the senior players in the team and it is helpful for me as a young captain. I am quite lucky to have so many seniors players in the team. It is fine, it is a Afghani rib and will be fine (referring to his injury while fielding).

Karim Janat | Man of the Series: Thanks to the crowd for being here and supporting us. It is all about the team support and I just gave my 100 percent. I try to back myself and back my skills.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz | Man of the Match: I just wanted to bat longer and that is what the coaches wanted me to do. The management has backed me and it is my duty to bat deep into the innings and provide a good score.

Kieron Pollard | West Indies captain: Similar situation from yesterday. We could not capitalize in the powerplay and from there on we were playing catch up. Cannot fault the effort of the bowlers. We can take a lot from this series especially on how to play on such wickets. You don't want to think too far ahead but we have to deal with what is in front of us. Unfortunately we could not get over the line in the series. We need to focus on our strengths and the Test team has been together for a couple of years and have been doing well. The guys are already here and are looking forward to the Test series. Well played to my team, but we pick ourselves up from this loss and move forward.

17:06 GMT, 22:36 IST: It was always going to be a tough chase and West Indies did better than yesterday but still fell 29 runs short of the target. CPL's two top run-getters - Lendl Simmons and Brandon King - were sent back cheaply. Lewis and Shai Hope steadied the innings and built a partnership but they never got accustomed to the slowness of the surface. In the end, they had too much to do and could not get anywhere close to the Afghanistan total. Credit to the bowlers, though they were better equipped to this surface, who bowled it into the surface and made life difficult for the West Indies batsmen. Hang around for the presentations..

Naveen-ul-Haq to K Pierre, no run, Afghanistan win by 29 runs. Gurbaz jumps in joy. Rashid and Afghan run towards Naveen-ul-Haq. It was a superb spell from him as he finishes with figures - 4-0-24-3. Slower ball to end proceedings and Pierre swings hard only to connect with thin air

19.6

Naveen-ul-Haq to K Pierre, wide, bit of an anticlimax. Naveen-ul-Haq switches to round the wicket and splays it down leg, Pierre shuffles across and fails to get anything as Gurbaz dives to his right to glove it

19.5

Naveen-ul-Haq to Keemo Paul, 1 run, dug into the surface and Paul flat-bats it to deep mid-wicket

19.4

Naveen-ul-Haq to Keemo Paul, no run, another ball that does not bounce, Paul clears his front leg to have a swing across the line but unfortunately for him the ball scoots underneath his bat swing

19.3

Naveen-ul-Haq to K Pierre, 1 run, full toss around off, Pierre swings it along the ground to deep mid-wicket

Khary Pierre, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Naveen-ul-Haq to Holder, out Caught by Nabi!! Third wicket for Naveen-ul-Haq. Holder wanted to go down fighting and he picks one of the calmest fiedlers in the ground. Another slower ball and Holder generated as much power he could muster but it was still not enough to clear Nabi at long-on. The veteran steadies himself just before the rope and takes it easily. Naveen-ul-Haq to Holder, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
