Tom Latham collects the trophy. His team-mates join to pose for the cameras. No Williamson? No problem. New Zealand continue their dominance at home in Test cricket. Back-to-back innings win for them and to do it without their regular captain and stalwart Kane Williamson here speaks volumes about the depth and talent in their system. It took West Indies an arduous 54-hour travel to reach New Zealand. They had to endure some strict quarantine protocols. They were beaten to the pulp in both T20Is and Tests. And to head back home empty-handed with pride shattered must be a bitter pill to swallow. Beware Pakistan! You're the Kiwis' next prey. On that note, it's time to sign off from here. Hope you enjoyed whatever we wrote over the course of these four days. Adios and take care everyone!

Tom Latham, NZ captain: Looking at the World Test Championship, it's nice to get full points from this Test series. We wanted to take one game at a time and it's worked for us. It's nice (for NZ to be no.1 in the Test rankings) but that's just a byproduct of the work that the boys have done over the last few years. There's another series coming up, so the focus needs to turn to that. Many guys put their hands up in this series across both Tests. The effort of the bowlers has been great, to bowl WI out successively in both games. They never complained, and just did their job. The pitches here in NZ have been quite green and we've learnt to play in these conditions. When you go around the world, you need to adapt to different conditions. I'm sure he (Williamson) would have been watching the game.

Jason Holder, WI captain: Disappointing obviously to lose another Test match. The fight that we showed in the second innings is what we're looking for. There are positives. Shemar, Joshua and Jermaine all batted well. We have showed time and again that we have the ability. The key is to show consistency. That is something West Indies cricket has lacked in recent times. Need to do some analysis on the technical side of things and the mental side of things. Honestly, I expect us to play a lot better. I believe we could have won a Test match here in New Zealand. I think the fielding really let us down in this game. Can't give good batsmen three or four chances.

Kyle Jamieson, Player of the Series: It's cool to be part of such a special group. I'm glad to play my small part in winning Test matches. It's a collective effort. The whole bowling unit performed so well. I guess getting the most out of myself is what motivates me the most. To win games of cricket. I think obviously my bowling will take preference naturally but I'd like to be an all-rounder. Need to get my batting up the gears. I have had four Tests at home now and these conditions are familiar to me. When the overseas tours happen, I'd like to learn from those experiences.

Henry Nicholls, Player of the Match: It was obviously nice to contribute. Nice to be part of a Test win as well as a series win. There were lots of ebbs and flows (in my innings), also had a lot of luck too which helps. Got good support from the lower order and then Wagner did what he does at the end. We knew that coming here without Kane would be a challenge.

11:54 Local Time, 22:54 GMT, 04:24 IST: Done and dusted inside four days. New Zealand climb to the number 1 position in Tests after this victory. It couldn't have been more sweeter. They are quite upbeat as they leave the field. The players are exchanging pleasantries as I type this. West Indies have been all but obliterated twice in a little more than a week. There was a glimmer of hope for them this morning after that inspiring partnership between captain Jason Holder and debutant Joshua Da Silva yesterday late in the final session which dragged this Test to Day 4. But Tim Southee crushed their beliefs by getting rid of Holder in his very first over today. Da Silva hung around with the tail, completed his maiden Test fifty and tried his best to make New Zealand bat again. Didn't get much support from the other end and only delayed the inevitable. Wagner brought back to wrap it up towards the end and oh boy, he didn't disappoint his skipper. Took the final two wickets and drove New Zealand to their 21st Test win at the Basin Reserve. Presentations to follow, don't go anywhere.

Wagner to Gabriel, out Bowled!! Bingo. It's the milestone man Wagner, who completes the formalities and pumps his fists in the air. So fitting, isn't it? Kept it full and straight. You miss and I hit stuff. Gabriel blindly swung his bat with zero confidence and hears the death rattle. New Zealand complete the clean-sweep. Gabriel b Wagner 0(6)

Daryl Mitchell to Gabriel, leg byes, 1 run, swinging in, a low full toss and Gabriel completely fails to get any bat. Rammed on the boot. Gabriel survives

New Zealand review: There have been plenty of lbw shouts in the last couple of overs. Here's more. Gabriel misses a low full toss and is hit on the boot. Not out says umpire Chris Gaffaney. Latham steps in and shows the T sign. It's missing leg, says technology.

78.5

Daryl Mitchell to Chemar, 1 run, 123.9kph, length on middle. Chemar opens up and guides it through cover for a single

78.4

Daryl Mitchell to Chemar, no run, bends low looking for the cross-batted swipe through mid-wicket. Gets defeated by the extra bounce once more

78.3

Daryl Mitchell to Chemar, no run, dug in short, it's rising up outside off. Too high for Chemar

Daryl Mitchell to Chemar, FOUR, back-to-back fours for Chemar. Another pitched up delivery from Mitchell just outside off, Chemar opens his stance and drills it back at the bowler. Mitchell gets low but doesn't get a hand. Beats mid-off and off she goes to the fence

Daryl Mitchell to Chemar, FOUR, tonked over the bowler's head. Fuller and just outside off, Chemar frees his arms and bullies it absolutely

Wagner to Gabriel, no run, pushed into the off-side

77.5

Wagner to Gabriel, no run, shout for lbw, no says the ump. Full and skidding on, Gabriel misses it and gets thwacked low on the pad. Did it pitch in-line? Well yes, three reds on the HawkEye. New Zealand doesn't review it

77.4

Wagner to Gabriel, no run, oh, Gabriel makes room and heaves it across the line. Doesn't get anywhere near the middle and it drops in front of mid-wicket

77.3

Wagner to Gabriel, no run, appeal for lbw again, but this is too high. Short and nipped back in a fraction, Gabriel was stuck in his crease and gets slammed on the back thigh. Going over surely
