Dimuth Karunaratne gets the trophy and he joins his team-mates as they pose for the cameras. They now take a victory lap to thank their fans in the stands. They want to thank Mickey Arthur for his contribution to Sri Lankan cricket. A clinical performance by Sri Lanka across the two Tests. There were rain interruptions in both the games, but luckily, it didn't play spoilsport and we got results in both the matches. Karunaratne was impressive in the first Test as he scored 147 and 83, while Dhananjaya played a match defining knock in this Test. However, Ramesh Mendis was the standout performer of the Sobers-Tissera series with 18 wickets in 2 Tests. Arthur now moves to Derbyshire as his stint as Sri Lanka's coach is over. That's all we've got from this game, hope you guys enjoyed our coverage. This is Nikhil Jadhav signing off on behalf of Vineet Anantharaman and Kumar Abhisekh Das. You can switch tabs and follow the action of the ongoing Mumbai Test - between India and New Zealand. Ciao for now!

Dimuth Karunaratne: I was worried before the Test, but the boys did a good job in these conditions. The youngsters did a good job and that's what we were expecting from them. Nissanka has a great future, hopefully he can convert those fifties into hundreds. I want to lead from the front and I think I did a decent job. Now I'm looking forward to the next series. For me Mickey Arthur is like a father, because he was always there for me and he was there for the other players as well. That's what you expect from the coach. I would like to thank the groundstaff for their hard work during the rain interruptions.

Kraigg Brathwaite: I thought our batting in the first innings was crucial. Me making 72, should have made a big hundred. I don't think we let ourselves down to be honest. We had chances, but we didn't take them. It's never easy batting on these pitches. As batters we couldn't capitalize on the starts. As batters we saw potential, just that we need to do that for longer periods. I think we need to bat at least 110 overs to put our team in a good position. Bowlers are doing a good job, but as batters we need to be hungry.

Ramesh Mendis | Player of the Series: I'm pleased with the effort, thankful for the help I got from my captain and coaches. I would like to thank my coaches for all the hard work they have put in to help me and get where I'm. At first-class level I was a batting all-rounder, and I intend to be a batting all-rounder.

Dhananjaya de Silva | Player of the Match: I enjoy pressure, I think batters can score when they are under pressure. My father's blessings are always with me, he is my angel. The ball was turning, it was tough. Mathews got out and Embuldeniya came in next, so we had to bat long. We were discussing about overs and not the runs after Angelo got out as we wanted to be in a safe position first. I would like to thank Mickey Arthur and Grant Flower for helping us in the tough times.

West Indies have failed to win a Test in Sri Lanka in 13 attempts: lost 9 and drawn 4.

This is the ninth time that two spinners took five wickets in a Test and second for Sri Lanka spinners in Tests.

14:40 Local Time, 09:10 GMT, 14:40 IST: Mendis and Embuldeniya lead Sri Lanka as they walk back to greet the West Indian players. The two spinners will be pleased having bagged five-wickets each and Coach Mickey Arthur is delighted as he signs off on a winning note. West Indies started well earlier in the day with Blackwood and Bonner having a decent parntership, but the former was dismissed at the stroke of lunch. However, once that partnership was broken, West Indies could hardly put up a decent stand. Ramesh Mendis' over where he claimed three wickets (with a changed ball) to reduce West Indies to 92/5 from 92/2 proved to be the turning point. Sri Lanka took wickets at regular intervals thereafter and once Bonner departed, it was just a matter of time. Ramesh Mendis with 11 wickets in the match, and Dhananjaya de Silva with his innings of 155* - were the top performers for Sri Lanka in this Test. There were contributions from others too, but DDS and Mendis were outstanding. Hang on for the presentations..

Embuldeniya to Warrican, out Caught by de Silva!! Five-wicket haul for Embuldeniya. Sri Lanka win the series 2-0 and the hosts are mighty pleased. Embuldeniya dropped Warrican in the last over, and that has helped him claim a five-for. Gives this some flight around off and Warrican goes for it, getting an outside edge that has been taken by de Silva at slip. Warrican c de Silva b Embuldeniya 3(3)

Embuldeniya to Warrican, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Looking at the way Warrican is batting, think this might be over in a jiffy.

Ramesh Mendis to Warrican, 2 runs, dropped at deep mid-wicket by Embuldeniya. This was slogged away by Warrican, but the fielder in the deep fails to latch onto the catch

Ramesh Mendis to Permaul, out Lbw!! A five-wicket haul for Mendis, his second one of this Test. Pitches this one outside off and gets it to spin in big. Permaul was rooted to the crease to play this and gets beaten due to the turn. Struck on the pads. Impact around off and it's crashing into the middle stump, according to the replays. Ramesh Mendis to Permaul, THATS OUT!! Lbw!!

Is that a five-wicket haul for Mendis? Permaul has gone up for a review, but he looks OUT. Nothing on UltraEdge and we've got three reds. West Indies are nine down, SL just a wicket away from winning the series 2-0.
